Hey guys, I'm going to apologize upfront if I incorrectly post on this forum; it is my first time!
Anywho, I have a bit of a conundrum that I need a ruling on. So I have an artifact deck that I am developing and need a rule clearing up.
If I had several artifacts out on the table are 'Shrouded' by, in example, Indomitable Archangel (essentially making them Hexproof) will the effects of a card such as Plague Boiler still remove them from the table?
My reasoning is that Plague Boiler, destroying all non-land permanents as an ability(?), would normally destroy itself and my other artifacts. If they 'could not be the target of spells or abilities' would they still be removed?
Furthermore, would artifacts made 'Indestructible' by the likes of Darksteel Forge still be susceptible since they couldn't be dealt damage?
Thanks again guys, sorry if it is a simple question!
In the future, rules questions go to the Magic Rulings forum.
Permanents with indestructible aren't destroyed by Plague Boiler's ability as indestructible stops things from being destroyed due to having lethal damage marked on them AND due to effects. Permanents with shroud or hexproof are destroyed - this effect doesn't target so these abilities have no relevance here.
Furthermore, would artifacts made 'Indestructible' by the likes of Darksteel Forge still be susceptible since they couldn't be dealt damage?
Being indestructible does not in any way prevent damage, an indestructible creature will be dealt all the damage that is being dished out on it. But being indestructible will make it so, that the creature will not be destroyed due to lethal damage. This means, that wither and infect will still put -1/-1 counters on it, and lifelink will make the sources controller gain as much life.

Shroud and Hexproof are very different abilities, so do not confuse them. A permanent with shroud cannot be the target of an ability anyone controls.
If people are sick of reading about stuff just stop taking part. You have 100% control over what you read. Simic Ascendancy isn't going to get banned just because you didn't tell someone to shut up on the internet.
