Quick question re: Urza's Incubator. I'm running a hydra tribal deck, and most of them have X-costs in them (entering with X +1/+1 counters on them).
Does anyone know if Urza could be used to reduce the cost of these creatures? Ie. If the mana cost is X plus one green and I paid one green and four colorless, would it enter with four or six counters on it?
Yes, Urza’s Incubator would do just that. When you cast a spell with an X in its mana cost, you declare the value for X before paying mana. So if you play, for instance, Apocalypse Hydra, you can declare X to be 2, and with the Incubator on the field and Hydra as the chosen creature type, you would only have to pay RG.
EDIT: It would seem mana symbol tags have changed since I last frequented these forums. Could someone educate me in how to post mana symbols? Thank you.

Keep in mind that you specify a value for X before you calculate and pay the cost, and that value remains set as long as that spell is on the stack.
As an example, consider Feral Hydra with X = 5. If X = 5, then
X = 5
XG = 5G
"Feral Hydra enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it." = "Feral Hydra enters the battlefield with 5 +1/+1 counters on it."
Urza's Incubator can reduce that 5G as easily as it can reduce the 5G on Honored Hydra. (There are two or three cards that can distinguish between "XG with X=5" and "5G", but they'll be obvious if you see them.)
Edit: When posting a reply, there is a line of various icons above the edit window, from a B for bold on the left to a set of mana symbols on the right for the mana tag. The documentation for the mana tag is somewhat lacking, but there is also a smiley button five to its left. Clicking that and selecting the MTG tab should let you click for any of the mana symbols you want.
