I just have an easy question that isn't answered by 404.2 clearly enough. Say I use Eternal Witness to return a card from my graveyard to my hand. Do I have to reveal the card I take back since it doesn't specify to get a specific card or I have to reveal it since the graveyard is public information? Thanks all.

"The essence of every world, every spell and every thought is power. Nothing else matters, because nothing else exists."
Eternal Witness's ability targets the card in "your graveyard"; like any other target, it has to be made known to all players (under C.R. 601.2c, you "announc[e] [your] choice of an appropriate object or player for each target the spell [or ability] requires" as you choose targets; this applies to triggered abilities because of C.R. 603.3d).
Since Eternal Witness specifies the card to return by targeting it, everyone will know as soon as you put the trigger on the stack, which card you will return. They can respond with that knowledge. Also, since the graveyard is a public zone, everyone gets to know which card left it.
Even if your card did not target (say you have Anurid Scavenger, for example), your opponent would absolutely in their right to say ''Hold on a minute'' an then take a very close look at every card in your graveyard, both before and after you took out a card. In short, your attempt at hiding this play would be pointless.
400.2. Public zones are zones in which all players can see the cards’ faces, except for those cards that some rule or effect specifically allow to be face down. Graveyard, battlefield, stack, exile, ante, and command are public zones. (…)
