I have some questions that poped dureing a battle I had.
I attack using Toxic Nim with a bonus of +0/+3. and it fights two Abbey Griffin.
1. does it die after the battle?
2. and what would happen if Toxic Nim had first or double strike?
3. if it does die can i use it's regeneration ability (and when do I need to activate it?) and still make some damage to one of them?
4. another case. I block using Drudge Skeletons and I use it's ability. is the battle over or I get the damage? and later that turn the opponent uses blaze on it before it untapped. can I use it's ability again?
1. If you activate the Toxic Nim's regenerate ability then no it will not die. Instead it will be regenerated.
2. If it had first or double strike it would kill both Abbey Griffins before they could deal damage so it would not even need to be regenerated.
3. Regeneration is like a shield. You activate it before the event that would kill a creature (in this case you activate it during the declare blockers step but before combat damage) and then when a creature would normally die instead you tap the creature and remove all damage from it.
4. Your opponents creature will deal damage to Drudge Skeletons and assuming at least one damage is dealt the regeneration shield will be consumed and the Skeletonso tapped. No damage will be dealt to you unless the creature has trample.
4B. The regeneration shield is a 1 time deal but you can activate its ability as many times as you can afford to pay. If you can pay B again you can regenerate it again and keep it alive.
I'm a little confused here. Is your Toxic Nim attacking and being blocked, or did something that lets creatures fight multiple other creatures get played?
1. Yes. It has 4 toughness and 4 damage marked on it, so it dies as a state-based action.
2. It depends on whether this is combat or just the fight mechanic. If it's attacking during combat, the first strike damage will kill the attackers before Nim takes damage. If it's the fight mechanic, the Nim will still take 4 damage and die because first and double strike only affect the steps of combat.
3. Regenerate needs to be activated before any damage is dealt here. It creates a shield that causes the Nim to become tapped and remove all damage instead of dying. It'll still do damage in this scenario.
4. Not entirely sure what you're asking here. You can activate the regenerate ability any number of times per turn as long as you have the mana, regardless of whether or not the creature is tapped.
1) Yes. Unless you have activated its regenration ability prior to the combat damage step and it hasn't been used up yet.
2) In that case, the Nim can kill both Griffins before they can strike back and the Nim survives without the need to regenrate. Double strike will act like first srike in this scenario, since in the second combat damage step there are no blockers left to deal combat damage to but the Nim is still blocked, so it can't damage the player/planeswalker it attacked.
3) You have to activate the regeration ability before the combat damage step, because the first thing that happens in that step is the dealing of combat damage. you don't get priority to do anything until your Nim is already dead. Regeneration prevents a creature from dying, it cannot bring it back from the grave. Activating tat ability sets up a shield that will be used up the next time the permanent would die this turn. Using up that shield is what taps the permanent, removes all damage from it, and removes it from combat if it's a creature. Just setting up the shield does none of those things.
4) See 3). The attacker is blocked and cannot deal combat damage to you unless it has trample or a similar ability that allows it to even when blocked. An activated regeneration ability that doesn't include the t symbol in its activation cost can be activated as often as you can pay the cost and even if the permanent is tapped or summoning sick. Each actiation sets up another shield, that lasts until the end of he turn or until it is used up. Each destruction event will use up just one shield.
I understood how to use it.
I thought that if a creature with infect attacks another creature I use the -1/-1 immediately like how I asked it. Now I know that it is like a counter that comes after the battle ends and stays there.
I wish to ask few more questions.
1. If infected creature with power of 4/4 attacks an indestructible creature with 3/3. Will the indestructible die? If not. Can it be used to attack or block?
2. When I use Nylea's Disciple. Do i count her in my devotion?

Yes it will die, since it will have 4 -1/-1 counters on it after combat damage and will be a -1/-1. A creature with 0 or less toughness is put into its owner's graveyard, and that is not destruction (being destroyed happens only from normal marked damage and effects that say 'destroy'), so indestructible or regeneration can't do anything against it.
2. When I use Nelea's Disciple. Do i count her in my devotion?
Yes, provided she's still on the battlefield when her ability resolves. When she enters the battlefield, her triggered abiility goes on the stack and can be responded to. When it resolves, it counts your devotion to green, and if the Disciple is still there, its mana cost counts.
