I just need to clarify a couple of interactions that Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle has with some copy effects, since the question came up on a Facebook post and I want to make sure I have this right in case it comes up again.
1) If Arixmethes is on the battlefield with at least one slumber counter on it (and is therefore a land), and Vesuva enters the battlefield as a copy of it, am I correct that Vesuva would enter as a land with five slumber counters on it?
2) Arixmethes is on the battlefield with a slumber counter on it, and its controller activates Thespian's Stage's second ability targeting it. Thespian's Stage should become a copy of Arixmethes with no slumber counters on it (a la copying Dark Depths) and immediately be a 12/12 creature with the Thespian's Stage copy ability. Is this correct?
Thanks!

1. Correct; once Vesuva becomes a copy of Arixmethes this way, it will enter tapped and will now have the replacement effect from Arixmethes, so will enter with five slumber counters on it (C.R. 616.2, 706.5; see also C.R. 614.1c).
2. Copying an object doesn't copy counters on that object, so Thespian's Stage won't be given any slumber counters if it becomes a copy of Arixmethes (C.R. 706.2). Since Arixmethes's copiable values don't include the type land, Thespian's-Stage-turned-Arixmethes won't automatically become a land this way (C.R. 706.2); if that permanent has no slumber counters on it, its second ability won't make it a land.
EDIT: Added rule citation and further edits after comment 3 was posted.
EDIT (Jan. 22): Deleted rule citation.
CR 706.5 says Arixmethes' first ability applies to Vesuva as it enters the battlefield. It comes in tapped as a copy of Arixmethes with five slumber counters on it, from which the second ability derives that Vesuva enters as a land.
Thespian's Stage becomes a copy of Arixmethes, but does not copy the counters (CR 706.2).

And in both cases, if you control both the Arixmethes and the copy-land, you've got two legendary permanents with the same name, so you'll have to put one of them into your graveyard (or command zone, if you're playing commander and Arixmethes is your commander) as a state-based action.

That part I definitely know, I forgot to mention that I'm assuming different players control Arixmethes and the various copy effects, whoops.
