Is my logic correct in assuming, for example, with 3 Vernal Blooms in play, each Forrest could tap for 3 mana?
This would then trigger Spormound's token-creating ability "Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, create a 1/1 green Saproling creature token."?
So the mana added to the pool by Vernal Bloom is considered land entering the battlefield under my control? If yes, then I could add Saproling tokens for as much land was created?
Mana is not the same as lands (compare C.R. 106.1 with C.R. 110.4 and 110.1), so an ability that triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under a player's control doesn't trigger if that player adds mana (C.R. 603.6a).
Note that Vernal Bloom now says "...its controller adds an additional G" (C.R. 108.1); cards no longer speak of a "mana pool".
Also, note that if you had 3 Vernal Bloom in play, each Forest taps for 4 mana, not 3. One from the Forest normally tapping, then 1 more for each Vernal Bloom.
