It is not a triggered ability it is an activated ability. You could use Rings of Brighthearth to copy the ability because it is activated and not a mana ability, but you won't get any extra treasure tokens because the treasure token making part of the ability is based on the the map having 3 landmark counters and you would remove them all the first time the ability resolves.
Thank you for your response, no wonder that card is 33$, it does amazing things.
Just to solidify my understanding, triggered abilities have no cost whereas activated abilities do. In the case of treasure map you have to tap it.
In the case of marionette master, the beginning clause is "whenever" so you would put 6 tokens or 6 +1/+1 counters if strionic resonator was activated?
Triggered abilities can have costs. See Alesha, Who Smiles At Death. Having a cost is not a distinguishing characteristic either way.
117.12. Some spells, activated abilities, and triggered abilities read, "[Do something]. If [a player] [does, doesn't, or can't], [effect]." or "[A player] may [do something]. If [that player] [does, doesn't, or can't], [effect]." The action [do something] is a cost, paid when the spell or ability resolves. The "If [a player] [does, doesn't, or can't]" clause checks whether the player chose to pay an optional cost or started to pay a mandatory cost, regardless of what events actually occurred.
602.1. Activated abilities have a cost and an effect. They are written as "[Cost]: [Effect.] [Activation instructions (if any).]"
603.1. Triggered abilities have a trigger condition and an effect. They are written as "[When/Whenever/At] [trigger condition or event], [effect]. [Instructions (if any).]"
As for the Master, you could copy either trigger. If you copy the Fabricate Trigger, you can choose the other option. So, you can get 6 counters, 6 tokens, or 3 of each.

A triggered ability can be identified by the words "when," "whenever," or "at", which will usually be found at the start of the ability. As opposed to an activated ability which is written {Cost}:{Effect}. Triggered ability can have a cost associated with them, Akoum Stonewaker, has a triggered ability that asks for a payment and activated abilities can have timing restrictions, see Ancient Hellkite, has an activated ability that can only be used at a specific time. There are a few differences between the two but the distinguishing one is that triggered abilities always trigger when their condition is met, you may not pay and it will result in nothing, while activated abilities are...well activated.
The Resonator could copy the Marionette Master's enter the battlefield ability and it will give you the choice of 3 counters or 3 tokens twice. So you could end up with 6 of either or 3 of both. It can also be used to copy the second ability that causes loss of life.
Just to let you know about the last kind of ability. If an ability doesn't use "when," "whenever," or "at" or is written {Cost}:{Effect} it is a static ability.
If so could strionic resonator cause 6 treasures to be created?
