FYI I am just getting back into casual magic after a 10+ years. A few friends have recently started playing a commander group and I am familiarizing myself with the rules to pick a deck. Trying to be a bit odd, I am working on a "white direct damage deck".
My question is how does one determine the "Color" of a legendary land that has no casting cost and does not add any specific color mana. Specifically Urborg, Tomb of yawgmoth. The commander rules on http://mtgcommander.net/rules.php make it appear to actual be colorless, as it states that "Basic land words (swamp, forest, etc) in the text box of a card do NOT represent a coloured mana symbol." and "A card's colour identity is established before the game begins, and cannot be changed by game". Does the physical color of the card (blackish) define the color, or am I correct in my determination that this card is indeed colorless? The idea behind this is cards like Karma and stern judge
You can run Urborg in non-black decks. If a mana symbol doesn't appear in cost or box or identity marker, the card doesn't have an identity of that colour.

Note that in the traditional Commander variant, a "card with a basic land type may be included in a Commander deck only if each color of mana it could produce is included in the commander's color identity" (C.R. 903.5d). For example, in that variant, Temple Garden may be included in a Commander deck only if the commander's color identity includes green and white, since Temple Garden includes the basic land types Forest and Plains (C.R. 305.6; see also C.R. 106.7).
