I activate my Lumbering Falls and attack with the Lumbering Falls and Child of Alara. During combat, the Child of Alara dies and I put it in the graveyard. Does the Lumbering Falls live (assuming it didn't die in combat)?
Yes it does. Child dies before the creature changes back to a regular land, the destruction happens immediately, and hexproof doesn't save it because the effect from Child doesn't target. Hope that clears it up

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
To confirm, Scarap is correct. While the Child's trigger doesn't target, it only destroys nonland permanents. Even if it's a creature, the Falls is still a land, and will not be destroyed by the Child's trigger.
