Let's say that for whatever reason, it's decided that one card will be taken off the banned list of EDH and allowed to be used again. What would you hope it would be? Any particular reason?

Here's the list!

Prophet of Kruphix. The group I play with is mostly enthusiastic amateurs, and I was the only person in the group using Prophet.
The deck I had it in was a bunch of clones, Simic goodstuff, and Biovisonary as a wincon.
Banning Prophet didn't really do anything for us but make my jank deck even worse. Presumably the serious players were locking down entire tournaments with it or something.

for the most part I understand why the banned list exist... however I love Primeval Titan and bought a full playset for edh just before it got banned. If anything I say bring that back...

Recurring Nightmare because it's one of the most fun cards I've ever played with. That said, I completely understand why it's banned.

The first deck I ever built from the ground up was a crappy B/W deck that abused the hell out of it. But I was young and stupid, and didn't realize that the Survival of the Fittest I also got was a much better combo piece.

Bring back Recurring Nightmare !!!!

I don't play in any kind of Official EDH games, so the Ban List has no effect on me once so ever. However, as someone who owns a playset of Promo Grand Prix Primeval Titan, I would be incensed that I would not be allowed to play one. Thankfully my group of casual mates is much more relaxed.

I'd like to see Painter's Servant back. There's a few combos around it, but nothing more powerful than, say, Rest in Peace can do. Unless I'm missing something.

Balance. It's definitely a powerful card but I don't think it's so overpowered as to deserve a spot on the banned list.

Prophet of Kruphix. My terrible creature based combo decks need instant speed responses.

No, if anything it could use some cards.
Cyclonic Rift in particular is just too good because of the asymmetry.

Sylvan Primordial is the one that I would unban given the chance. Most of the cards on the banned list for EDH are there because they immediately win games or create infinite combos that will do so. I get that an ETB effect that both destroys a permanent and fetches a land is some pretty nasty shenanigans, but most ETB type decks in EDH have a way of utilizing the same effect with at least 2 creatures as well. It's not difficult to "flicker" a wood elves and a mold shambler in one turn and each turn after all. Speaking of each, I get that the primordial does hit each of your opponents simultaneously, and that is big obviously, but seriously if you play EDH as a multiplayer format regularly you should be expecting some serious shenanigans to take place and just be building stronger decks to compete. Besides, multiplayer EDH games last 2 to 4 hours on the regular, you NEED stuff like the primordial in that case just so you can switch decks up and get on to the next game already.
