What cards would you most like to see get a reprint? It could be because they're interesting, fun, flexible, overpriced, or whatever. Here are some of my picks:
- Rings of Brighthearth (combos! and not the cheapest thing either...)
- Doubling Season (too useful and too expensive - Parallel Lives as well, though it's less in both of those respects)
- Copy Enchantment (definite utility potential, and generic enough to fit in nigh any set)
- Training Grounds (more combo potential)
- Serum Visions (decent bit of utility, especially for a 1 CMC common)
- Quicksilver Dagger (another really good common)
- Twincast/Reverberate (copying stuff is fun; also, why isn't there an instant that copies an activated or triggered ability yet?)
- Strionic Resonator, Illusionist's Bracers (copying stuff is still fun)
- Sunpetal Grove, Canopy Vista, Wooded Bastion, Sulfur Falls, Seaside Citadel, Frontier Bivouac, and the other lands from the same cycles (I do like my nonbasic lands, though I'll admit Canopy Vista's cycle was recent enough that it doesn't really need a reprint, and I guess the trilands should probably be replaced with something more generic that does the same thing)
- Sprouting Phytohydra (also has potential interesting combos and probably costs more than it should, though it's far from the worst in that regard)
- The "Sword of X and Y" cycle (mostly quite useful and also overpriced)
Not because any of them particularly need reprints, but because I play limited and these are my favorite cards. I just appreciate opportunities to play with them, and legacy cube can't come around to MTGO often enough.
Also agree with the Baleful Strix. It would do some decent things for modern, imo.
I'd like me a good reprint of Goblin Guide. Seriously, it's the only card I need for my RDW to be complete. And use the Promo art version for a reprint, m'kay? Much cooler.
The Shadowmoor/Eventide filterlands. Unlike some other lands, the expeditions didn't do anything to stifle their price and given their limiited use in eternal formats, they really shouldn't be as pricey as they are. Flusterstorm for Modern. Then Storm can get some leeway again.
