So I have been working out a trade and there wurncoil engine involved has a indent slightly below the set symbol (see pics), how would I value this, or how much should I take off of its value?
Value is good. But Dredgevine isn't supposed to be about value. It's supposed to be about V-8; 2000 pounds of nitro boosted war vegetables. The more velocity, the better.

That would be known as a binder bend. It's from the rings in a binder pressing against it.
I'd probably take around 30% off, that looks pretty bad from the back. You should ask if it's possible to feel it in a sleeve so you don't get called out for marked cards.
My limit would be "is this playable in a tournament without a sleeve?"
If the answer is "hmmm.... maybe, some judges won't mind, some would", then that's 50% off the price.
The example above won't *immediately* get you penalized for playing a marked card and might even be completely hidden if in a sleeve, so about 30% to 40% off.
