What do you guys think it is? My card of choice is Scornful Egotist for the obvious reason.
Scornful Egoist had it's uses. It's FAR from the worst card ever printed. I had it in a RU deck with Homarid Spawning Bed and Day of Dragons along with Rush of Knowledge and Torrent of Fire
Scornful Egotist was printed to let players have a high CMC permanent on the battlefield early in the game to interact with cards that cared about that. Wood Elemental can at least attack and block. Sorrow's Path can... lead to surprise combat blowouts, right? yeah... still an abysmal card, but not the worst.
Great Wall, however, is as close to a do-nothing as I can think of. Three mana for an enchantment that is relevant against six creatures in Magic's history (one of them silver bordered). Yeesh. That gets my vote for worst card ever.
Special thanks to Hakai Studios and SushiOtter for the sig!

Steamflogger Boss is a fine Hill Giant in limited. They even pump each other if you get 2! Just ignore the other ability.
There's plenty of blanks, nothing is worse than a blank. Previously mentioned Great Wall... North Star and Deep Water are up there too. Seafarer's Quay and that whole cycle... Erosion and Power Leak are about as close as possible to doing nothing as well..

I think the only card I've seen mentioned that I'd agree with is Great Wall. No creature, no matter how much it costs or how much of a drawback it has will ever qualify as the worst card ever for me, as there can always be some use. If it has power, it can get in for damage. If it doesn't, it can block or be sac'd to something.
North Star is pretty bad, but there could potentially be some use for it. Maybe in some janky green deck with tons of mana that wants access to blue counters.
Great Wall is virtually useless though. I haven't seen many decks running Zodiac Rooster of late.
Chimney Imp is actually a solid card in Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker EDH. These two cards, along with a sac outlet, provides a nice soft lock.
Seriously. People don't realize that putting a card from your hand back on top is HUGE tempo disadvantage, significantly more so than just discard. If you've ever played against Plow Under or Stunted Growth, you'll know how bad this can get. Chimney Imp looks terrible on paper, but it's way away from being the worst card ever.
LOL we may have a winner. Is there a reason to play this card?

Spike cares more about the quantity of wins than the quality. For example, Spike plays ten games and wins nine of them. If Spike feels he should have won the tenth, he walks away unhappy.
Razor Boomerang and Mindless Null are some recent ones. Razor Boomerang baffles me as to why it was even printed. And a vanilla 2/2 for 3 is already bad enough, why do you have to give it a downside?
the worst card i can think of has to be tolarian serpent. I remember opening that card and thinking why would i want a 7/7 that mills 7 cards a turn when i can just play polar kracken or something.. Even now i think there has to be better ways to mill yourself
LOL we may have a winner. Is there a reason to play this card?
Anyone running Mudhole should be running a mass land destruction deck. In EDH, it would be a decent way to keep Crucible of Worlds from getting the important lands back.

I keep my vote as Sorrow's Path

I feel it'll hold this title until it sees reprint in its appropriate set.
As others have said, Great Wall and Wood Elemental are pretty terrible.

There's a really simple way to dispute that: Hill Giant, Canyon Minotaur, etc.

It also combos well with Mind Bend.

For those pesky zoo players with their goyfs and their knight of the reliquarys.
