(And yes, I know people did try to use it against Owl, but that's pretty sad.)
The ones at PT Honolulu, and yes, it was to counter Owl's Sudden Impact. Sad or no, it has beaten countless other cards that never see the light of day to pro decks. Good enough for me.
(And yes, I know people did try to use it against Owl, but that's pretty sad.)
The problem with voting OwN as the worst card is that it is the most efficient card to instantly drop your hand. It could easily see sideboard play again, if a Sudden Impact or Owl-type deck emerges in another format. (It could happen...)
Plainswalk has never been a viable strategy, and Great Wall isn't an efficient way to deal with it anyway. Sorrow's Path will never see play, because if you really needed to use the ability better options exist that don't Shock your creatures...
So here's a question. If Great Wall is a bad answer to a tiny group of cards with a generally irrelevant ability....
...what about Aysen Highway? Here's a card that grants an ability that is only relevant if your opponent is also playing creatures that get the same benefit (best-case scenario is your opponent is splashing for white cards other than creatures). AND it costs 6 times as much as Great Wall. One might argue that there are a lot of better things to do with 2W, but there are about a thousand better things to do with 3WWW.

Just some food for thought.
fixed.
As for your question, Aysen Highway can at least break a stalemate and win the game in a mirror match. The same cannot be said for Great Wall.

I am looking for Date Stamped promos from Khans of Tarkir block so I can finish my set. Check my wants if you have any.
Currently offering 2 non-foil Kolighan's Command for a Date Stamped foil!
I say it's Break Open. Now here's a card that NEVER does ANYTHING. EVER. Ofcours you can be wiseasses and say that it can kill that annoying Blistering Firecat.
So can Shock, for half the manacost. Not to mention the fact Shock can do 1,000 other useful things. I vote Break Open too.
Leeches can actually win you the game in some obscure situations. They are rarer than the ones where Aysen Highway can win, but they exist.
Break Open can help dodge nasty surprises, but it is at best a bad kill spell and at worst a lose more card.
Great Wall is at best a lose less card, and at worst a do nothing card. I think Great Wall is still the loser here. Although the Bands with Other lands are a pretty close second. At least they gain usefulness as more legends are made...

Sorrow's Path, Great Wall, Carnival, Blood Funnel, etc are all up there.
I'm always reminded of how many really bad commons there were in ICE AGE. I always like to think Snowfall or balduvian shaman or some other absurd snow effect was the worst. I guess they are trying to fix that presently though:-/

Intelligence tells you what to do.
Wisdom tells you what NOT to do.
IMO the best card has to be one of the adventurers' guildhouse cycle. i'm not sure which of them is the worst, but it's one of them. (the others are #2-5)

What in the name of all that's holy are you smoking????
No, ZS is assigned as a blocker. DC is now blocked, but no damage has been assigned yet. If ZS's ability were to be Stifled, it would be assigned 6 and your face would be assigned 5. Since ZS is returned, however, all 11 damage may be assigned to your face, making ZS still a crappy card.

Another strike against it is that it doesn't tap for mana...
I would say Break Open, followed by Sorrow's Path and then One with Nothing.
There are several extremely useless cards - amongst which must be Security Detail.
Five colors to rule them all One tap to drain them
Tension, apprehension and dissension have begun.

it's not terrible. it's black's way of dealing with artifacts.
i vote for great wall. i think there are fewer than 10 creatures with plainswalk. and most of them suck.
COME ON!!! A card that DRAWS the game.. that's so awesome.. how can you vote that the worst card?
I'm just gonna vote for ... ummmm.. Great Wall
