I appreciate that no-one can say for sure without seeing it for real.
I am looking to sell this Time Twister and wanted to do all due diligence before selling it. I've had it for some time and am looking to get out of the game. Buy a house!
I've taken pictures with Loupe and the following seems promising:
- printing patterns
- mana symbol
- white border no printing pattern
There is nothing that makes me alarmed, but I wanted to see if the community saw anything that would alarm them. I have been reading every guide on the subject I can! But sometimes experience is worth more.
There are 3 issues that I would be concerned with. I am not going to share them here. You very well could be who you claim to be. And again you could be a counterfeiter/con-man trying to elicit hints from the board in which you would use to sell a counterfeit as a real card. You have exactly one post here. I would urge others to refrain as well as protection for potential buyers out there. I know that sounds harsh and cruel, but we don't know you from Adam. Others may share but again I advise against it. A buyer of this caliber/value of this card is going to go over it with a fine toothed comb. If it is a legit card they will identify it as such. Again I know I am being abrasive but I am not going to be the person that helps someone to scam another.

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Assuming that I am a legitimate owner of the card and not a con artist, what would you recommend I do to legitimately verify it before I attempted to sell it.
I have no wish to sell it, only for a buyer to go over it with a fine tooth comb and find something which I was not aware of. Obviously, if it is a fake, I will not be selling it.
Red flags are going up all over the place on your response. I've stated I won't share the 3 issues as there is no way to verify yourself as legit. Sorry no dice.
My advice if you are indeed going to sell this is take it to a reputable buyer/seller in person and let them thouroghly examine it. I won't be part of a potential scam, plain and simple. Best wishes if you are above board on this.

Send cards in and let them grade the card.
Its expensive for almost any card thats not 100$+ , but for seriously expensive cards it can be worth it, if you have no other option.
If its a real card you get a grading.
If its a fake card, they will identify it as such.
Plenty of people own fake cards and dont know it, and just as much know its fake but still try to sell it as real (which can become a real issue that gets the police involved).
----
Much cheaper is to simply ask a person to check the cards and tell them right away you are not sure if its a legal card (as even trying to sell a fake card as real is a problem).
If you have a bunch of cards its worth a trip to a store and just let them check the cards for a cost (like 1$ per card, lots of shops will do that).
----
There are a lot of fake cards, but with expensive cards, the people that want to buy them will most likely have a very good idea what they are looking for (and simply feeling the card is enough for most).
The cards condition here is pretty rough, which very greatly reduces its value (still not worthless, but its quite damaged).
For what it's worth I will look to grade it. Unfortunately, during lockdown, there are no gaming stores open. So I will look to online options.
I wasn't asking you to reveal the three things, understanding your first reply and considering it a fair enough stance to have. Hence my request as to what TO do, which TheOnlyOne has kindly answered.
Redflags or no, I was merely trying to be reasonable. As my post is clearly unwelcome, perhaps deleting the thread may be appropriate. But, ultimately, not my business.

Its not that I or others want you to feel unwelcome. The thread is just fine and actually should be used a teaching tool. Prices of cards are skyrocketing right now. A lot of "new" money is flowing into buying valuable MTG cards as an investment. There are hordes of unscrupulous con-artists out there that just need to sell one fake at thousands of dollars and they are done and gone. I am not going to give information out to someone I don't trust when it involves huge sums of money. OnlyOne is correct. FIND someone. IN PERSON or have it graded by a professional company. Yes you may have to pay but it may validate its authenticity. Even the worn look that the card has can be faked rather easily. And again as OnlyOne stated no buyer in their right mind is going to buy a card of this value sight unseen. There are buyers out there but you have to do some work to find them. And 99% of them are going to be informed and will be able to spot a fake. Again if you are legit, good luck. Take OO's advice. Have a licensed and insured grading company evaluate it, maybe even a second one as well. Sometimes it takes money to make money.
