Unfortunately, the color variance is normal for that particular set. IIRC, the most dramatic color variation is between the pre-release kits and the booster boxes. I don't see any color variation outside of normal from the photos. Gloss on the cards have the same problem. I can pick out pre-release non-foils almost as easily by touch. Unless they have that "playing card" feel, it isn't enough of an indicator they're fake.
I already mixed both cards into my collection and I can still pick out the non-foil pre-release cards from the rest. I know this applies to recent printings like Ravnica Allegiance, Guilds of Ravnica, Core 2019 and Dominaria. I don't know about Ixalan or Rivals of Ixalan.
I strongly suggest you go through the gamut of examnation including using a loupe to check core, color, dot pattern, and flourets. A light (phone light is ideal) to check for light penetration, core color (it is blue in Ravnica). Then touch the card, without sleeve, to feel for texture and heft. You're looking at the quality of the card. In that sense, it really helps to have a sampling of known good cards opened from good packs from the same set but not be same box to understand what you're looking for.
DO NOT, regardless of what anybody tells you, do the bend test. Ever. Just don't do it.
TLDR; color variation is not always a good indicator that a card is fake. You need to check for other details to rule out bad cards.
I'm not sure about. Give me your opinions!
The Assasin's Trophy on the left side is way much more glossy when I touch It and the colors are more strong.
