So, lately I'm hearing a lot of comments in the internet saying that this card or ability have "high, ceiling, low floor", or viceversa and I have no idea what they are talking about (also because it's an expression that I think doesn't even have any equivalent in my native language).
So, I'm asking : what does Ceiling and Floor means in this context? Also making examples would be of creat help. Can you make clear examples of 4 cards with High Ceiling, Low Floor, another one with Low Ceiling, High Floor, another one with High Ceiling, High Floor and another one Low Ceiling, Low Floor and explain to each one why is that? Thank you.
It basically means what does it do in the best and worst case. Last March of the Ents has a low floor and high ceiling.
If you have no creatures on the battlefield and no cards in hand, it does nothing. If you have a large creature and 7 cards in hand, it puts them all onto the battlefield.

So you mean that floor means "in the worst case" and ceiling means "in the best case"?
So a card with high floor and low ceiling doesnt make sense, right?
Not always. Liliana of the Veil is effective in most cases. When you're behind, it is removal, when ahead, it keeps you ahead and at parity or an empty board, it can put your opponent behind.
