Hi, I don't have mtg cards, but my bf collects and plays. When he bought one of his decks, he got a card and he couldn't find the value of the card i put in as attachment. I tried reverse google search and just the name of the card, but it didn't work.
I was hopping someone might be able to help me, so i can surprise him with the news.
This is a custom art card, ie, a proxy. Really nothing more than a homemade card. To a collector it’s really worth $0, because it’s not made by Wizards and wouldn’t be permitted in a sanctioned tournament. As a proxy, it’s also not worth much, because it’s a proxy of an actual 25 cent card. People don’t usually proxy cards that are so cheap, as proxies are generally designed to act as substitutes for cards the player can’t normally afford. To top it off, the real card being proxied here isn’t particularly used much or commonly played. Best case scenario is you could get $1-$2 for it, but you’d be hard pressed to find a buyer. It probably has more value as a bookmark than in your deck.
