He’s pretty hot actually. That’s just a bad picture.
I really do love his art
I'm more talking about that shirt plus that necklace/pendant. It makes him look like a magician that makes things disappear in your drink. It's entirely based on how he's dressed, it's pickup artist style.

I am curious if any formal charges will be brought against him. If what has been leveled against him is legitimate, those things step into the realm of sexual assault, far beyond just being a "sexual predator".
As for his artwork, its good but he wouldn't crack my top 20.

Good artist, terrible person by character.
Hes the kind of guy that could talk themselves out of trouble fairly well (and some people easily fall for that).
Charismatic dude with a terrible character behind the curtain.
Still regardless i would advocate to separate the art from the artist.
Could use a pseudonym if they wanted to, but they just cancel culture everything away if it makes any form of twitter outrage at all.
WotC attracts weirdos and will do so more and more, as nobody in their right mind would currently WANT to work for them, unless they need the money and can risk any form of random twitter outrage about anything of their personal life.
At some point we need to realize that humans are always flawed, there are no real saints if you dig deep enough.

what are you even talking about
the guy admits to being predatory, and you think this is cancel culture?
actions have consequence, even here. this is directly against the brand's values in pretty much every way. additionally, and i can't believe i have to keep repeating this so many times, wotc is not obligated to employ an artist. they're not canceling his art, hell they come right out and say expect it in the next few sets because it was all already print. just because you painted a painting for them a few times does not mean that they're obligated to keep paying for your art.
wotc is still one of the highest paying commissions in the business. magic has a huge following, and getting your art published here exposes you to damn near countless people that you otherwise wouldn't have been exposed to. you bet your ass wotc still has people lining up to get their art on cards, no one has to worry about that.
i would ask, if an artist is predatory, racist, sexist, or any number of things that aren't acceptable to the company's standards, or **** even society's standards... why would you even want to commission art from that person at all? why would you want to be associated with that in any way? businesses end employment over things like this all the time.
don't be a ***** person, uphold their values, and they'll keep purchasing your art. its that simple. there isn't an employer out there who doesn't have a values system it expects the people associated with it to follow.
this is what accountability looks like. this is what you want in a society of laws, reason, and equality. there has to be standards for behavior.

You want everyone to be the same, think the same, act the same, everyone that does not, fired from their job, doesnt get a home anymore, and you might even not allow them in any business at all ? Food ? Not for you sir.
That doesnt work.
Your little fantasy world just cant exist, as you didnt think it to the end what it means you want to advocate.
An employee is about making money, its a business.
If a person is not advocating for your company, they are very well free to do whatever they want.
If the artist is gay, trans, democrats or republican, a jew, muslim, black or white, asian, or physical disabled.
All of that doesnt matter nor should it matter for an employer, as it has nothing to do with the work.
If either of these things is restricted by an employer and they snoop through your social media and let people accuse you of stuff to get you fired ... is that the world you want to live in ? (and sadly we are damn close to that "cancel culture", and thats a massive issue as of right now and very visible to almost anybody in any area)
People just assume a simplistic world view like "dont be a dick" can reasonable work.
They are so simple minded, like its even a remote universally accepted definition of how a person is allowed to behave.
News Flash: Its not.
The exception to the rule are positions that have very real and mandatory contact in the name of the company.
They are very well in need to represent the values of the company, as the job demands they are.
But an artist ? You basically only see the art and the name, and thats it.
And artist has no contact to anybody and in the case of artists for WotC they are not even employees at all, they are paid as contractors.
So yes, they are absolutely free to choose whoever they want to make a contract with.
But if you make these decisions based on discriminatory reasons (in this case political views, which the twitter posts are basically all about) , then you make your business not about actual business anymore, but a pseudo authority that decides what they want to discriminate against.
Simply put, imagine they would say we dont hire any black artists (and ironically WotC has an issue with exactly that, employing basically no black people at all) , would you think the same if an black artist is removed and the reason is just "well we dont want your kind here".
If you think thats wrong, well, the same is true for political views.
A real world of "equality" has to accept all viewpoints equally and not pick favorites and kick everyone else out (if you want that, Fascism or Communism might be your thing ... not that i recommend either of these pitfalls of humankind).

Agreed, but possibly an even worse person due to his purported ACTIONS and DEEDS, not thoughts, REAL ACTIONS. We will see what shakes out but it appears he may have committed multiple sexual assaults. That will take time to be proven or disproven. But when he all but claims he did such (notice he doesn't call himself a sexual crime perpetrator). Charges may well come of this. His thinly veiled apology, adhering to one or the 48 laws of Power tenets, comes off as weak and fake as can be, even as he crafts the apology for all to read. (Personally screams manipulator to me.) If guilty, he needs to accept his punishment, serve his punishment, beg forgiveness of his alleged victims, do right by them with what means he can, THEN ask for forgiveness from the community after he has rehabilitated and redeemed himself. I hope he truly does and we can see his artwork again some day. That day is going to be a long road for him, but its the high road and the one worth traveling. I say this as a flawed being myself. I hope I could live up to my own expectations.

Nice screed, but the guy admitted to being a sexual predator. He didn't let go for his beliefs or opinions, he got let go because he's accused of sexual assault and has both admitted to using his position to coerce people into sex and understanding that it was a supremely *****ty thing to do.
If you think this sort of behavior wouldn't get you fired from your own job, assuming you have a job, you're nuts. Defending this guy and suggesting he should keep getting his art commissioned by wizards is your right, but it's my right to point out how that makes you garbage.

It would be helpful if you wouldn't go into these general rants all the time and instead stay focused on the topic. Again, you're making up things to be mad about. Wizards didn't cut ties with this guy for being gay, or a democrat/republican, a jew, a muslim, or any of the things you listed (not even "having different political beliefs", because if you think what he did qualifies as that, then whew). They did so because he admitted to being a sexual predator. This is what this is about.

Soramaro, you have missed the point. According to TheOnlyOne652089 proclaiming to be a sexual predator is the same as proclaiming to be a Democrat/republican, gay, Jewish or Muslim or any other group, all groups are equal including the groups you are born into and those you choose to join later in life. Or at least that is the only reasonable conclusion to draw when they bring them up in the same discussion and comparing them to one another.

you're pretty wrong here, and the real world has countless examples that show it.
this guy is indefensible right now, and with good reason.
So just a summary from the scenario here. He's a famous artist that seduced women. Famous in a small circle of people. Not rock star famous but still famous.
That's pretty much how every rock concert works. Rock star fans chat up the rock stars and then they have intercourse.
Am I missing something?
By his own admission, he was a creepy sexual predator who used whatever status he had to pressure women into sex. Accusations that were thinly-veiled to be about him said he would grope women at cons, and was once bitten by a girl he was force-feeding drinks to when she was already drunk (presumably to make her pliant). That thin veil didn't do much veiling since the responses to the vague assertion rolled in since evidently Bradley's predatory behavior is in certain circles as infamous as it is commonly experienced.
That you don't seem to understand that power dynamics exist in sexual relationships is a bit concerning. The rock star analogy is particularly cringe given the ubiquity of predatory behavior by rock stars. They are quite literally infamous for abusing their power and status, being coercive and grooming, and in many cases being unconcerned with things like consent and whether a sexual partner is even an adult. I mean, the stories from Lori Maddox alone are terrifying and the 70s were a time of rampant exploitation of "Baby Groupies", but rock history is littered with its stars abusing their status to sexually exploit women.
Is everyone happy they made magic political yet? That's 3 articles in a month. First was racism, 2nd was sexual identity?, 3rd one is on rape. Anyone else see a pattern?

is everyone happy they made magic political?
well, yes actually.
they're finally doing something about the rot that's existed within their talent pool. that opens the game up to more players by making the space more welcoming and distancing the product from well... politics. everything has consequence, and by finally handling these issues, regardless what you feel right now, if they've cleaned things up there will be more players as the game won't be associated with these issues any more. people will know exactly what the company stands for, and exactly what the players should stand for by extension. that opens more doors, that's more opponents, more players, more fun. you won't have to worry about sitting down at a table and having a political debate as they've taken steps to straight up end that debate. we know what they stand for, and what they'll do to support those values. that's fairly respectable.
as long as companies are run by people, and as long as the product is utilized by people, things get political. people have feelings, people have values. its as true here as it is for any product you purchase, from your soft drinks to your toilet paper to the store you buy shoes at.
hell, i'm sure we all have at least one experience where we walked out of a store because a staff member was openly racist, sexist, or just straight up a dick.
lets not be so hasty as to label politics a bad thing all the time. sometimes, its the people who push back against it that are actually the greater problem as they don't realize the full implications of what they're outraged about. the behaviors that they're supporting by pushing back so hard against legitimate change.
as for it being hard to believe he gave up on all that money... well that's on you buddy. the dude admit to his actions. he ****ed up, he's dealing with the consequences of that now. same as anyone working anywhere would if they acted the same as he did and got found out. it doesn't matter the quality, or quantity, of the product produced, how much money you make, or what you say even... if your actions are sleaze. owning it shouldn't mean its forgiven instantly, there needs to be accountability or its a meaningless apology that you'll learn nothing from and the behavior will inevitably continue.
keep in mind people are fired for far less than this daily. if you think ending the relationship with him over this isn't okay, why are all of those other terminations okay? why is this kind of behavior acceptable here but not somewhere else? why should this not be grounds to end the relationship? what would it actually take if this doesn't do it? why is that okay? why do you want a company to say this is fine, we condone our artists behaving this way? why would you support that company at all knowing that kind of behavior is protected?
or do you condone his behavior and that's what really needs to be discussed?
let's think a little bigger instead of just being outraged that the appropriate actions were taken, shall we?

I guess it sucks if you want to play Abzan in Standard and now you're forced to look at regular prints of Indatha Triome through a new lens.
I'm generally not a fan of borderless cards unless they're manually altered which actually takes skill (printed borderless cards seem to defeat the purpose for me, and most seem magnified, not actually extended). However, in this case, the alternate art is indeed much nicer than its bordered counterpart

Yet he somehow thought hey this will be easier than continuing to face my accuser. That's his decision. I hope he has enough money to keep him going for a few years. He won't be able to get an art job. Or at least for a few years until he shows how reformed he is.
Is everyone happy they made magic political yet? That's 3 articles in a month. First was racism, 2nd was sexual identity?, 3rd one is on rape. Anyone else see a pattern? No one believed me when I said twitter mob and Pointy Finger of Doom. Which is how magic is going to work now. I wonder who is next?
He did all of the M20 leylines! Leyline of the Void You'd have to really talented and likable to get to do a whole card cycle yourself. He has a lot of recent cards. Hard to believe he just gave up on that money.
is everyone happy they made magic political?
well, yes actually.
they're finally doing something about the rot that's existed within their talent pool. that opens the game up to more players by making the space more welcoming and distancing the product from well... politics. everything has consequence, and by finally handling these issues, regardless what you feel right now, if they've cleaned things up there will be more players as the game won't be associated with these issues any more. people will know exactly what the company stands for, and exactly what the players should stand for by extension. that opens more doors, that's more opponents, more players, more fun. you won't have to worry about sitting down at a table and having a political debate as they've taken steps to straight up end that debate. we know what they stand for, and what they'll do to support those values. that's fairly respectable.
as long as companies are run by people, and as long as the product is utilized by people, things get political. people have feelings, people have values. its as true here as it is for any product you purchase, from your soft drinks to your toilet paper to the store you buy shoes at.
hell, i'm sure we all have at least one experience where we walked out of a store because a staff member was openly racist, sexist, or just straight up a dick.
lets not be so hasty as to label politics a bad thing all the time. sometimes, its the people who push back against it that are actually the greater problem as they don't realize the full implications of what they're outraged about. the behaviors that they're supporting by pushing back so hard against legitimate change.
as for it being hard to believe he gave up on all that money... well that's on you buddy. the dude admit to his actions. he ****ed up, he's dealing with the consequences of that now. same as anyone working anywhere would if they acted the same as he did and got found out. it doesn't matter the quality, or quantity, of the product produced, how much money you make, or what you say even... if your actions are sleaze. owning it shouldn't mean its forgiven instantly, there needs to be accountability or its a meaningless apology that you'll learn nothing from and the behavior will inevitably continue.
keep in mind people are fired for far less than this daily. if you think ending the relationship with him over this isn't okay, why are all of those other terminations okay? why is this kind of behavior acceptable here but not somewhere else? why should this not be grounds to end the relationship? what would it actually take if this doesn't do it? why is that okay? why do you want a company to say this is fine, we condone our artists behaving this way? why would you support that company at all knowing that kind of behavior is protected?
or do you condone his behavior and that's what really needs to be discussed?
let's think a little bigger instead of just being outraged that the appropriate actions were taken, shall we?

At the end of the day, WoTC was worried about their bottom line in sales and wanted to publicly state that they have cut ties with Noah. Not much more needs to be said about this. There are no politics in this. A man uses his position to leverage sexual favors with people and was called out for it. He has admitted to it and is currently accepting his consequences. Unlike another artist who WoTC has cut ties with, this is the correct course.

Looks like WotC has done the right thing and cut ties to self-admitted sexual predator Noah Bradley.

I'm more talking about that shirt plus that necklace/pendant. It makes him look like a magician that makes things disappear in your drink. It's entirely based on how he's dressed, it's pickup artist style.

As for his artwork, its good but he wouldn't crack my top 20.

For the great Miss Y!

The other reasonable conclusion is that those who think that he's only half as clever as he thinks he is are being too generous in their assessment by half.

you're pretty wrong here, and the real world has countless examples that show it.
this guy is indefensible right now, and with good reason.
Yes, that people/experiences that had so often been ignored by or spoken over by the average MtG players are finally being taken seriously.

I'm generally not a fan of borderless cards unless they're manually altered which actually takes skill (printed borderless cards seem to defeat the purpose for me, and most seem magnified, not actually extended). However, in this case, the alternate art is indeed much nicer than its bordered counterpart
I used to be a demigod, but now I'm an omnimage
I mean, the cards still exist, he already got paid, why can't you run them? They aren't themselves offensive. He's just not going to get any future work.
