Sorry if this is a stupid question guys, but I just got the bug again about two months ago and started buying boxes. Just bought my first booster case.
Are booster cases sealed? I.E., are the 6 boxes (or 4 Masters) supposed to be all sealed together, or is it normal for them to be separated?
To be clear, I know each individual box will be WOTC shrink-wrapped, but I am wondering if they should all be sealed together in one big clump so somebody can't take 6 individual boxes and call them a case.
The standard expansions come stacked two tall and three deep in a sealed cardboard box. Masters cases are a little different. They are two booster boxes in a sealed box, then two of those boxes inside a larger sealed box. It seems like a waste of material. Though, I suppose with their higher price point, it makes it easier to sell sealed half-cases. The original modern masters had six booster boxes similarly split into two half-cases of three each. And, if I recall, the other sets like conspiracy (with their weirdly shaped boxes) are laid 1x6 in a sealed box.
Simply stated, if you happened to ignore the above paragraph, they come in a sealed outer box (sometimes three).
