First post in a long time on these forums after a long departure from Magic.
I recently decided to purchase a couple booster boxes of Dominaria upon hearing that Mr.Garfield rejoined the development team for this set.
Too make a long story short, I ordered these boxes from a retailer on Amazon, and upon opening the product, it appears that there were several signs of tampering with the packs.
I have attached some pictures below.
Is this what WotC quality control has become? Or has someone opened and resealed these packs?
I have never encountered this before, having previously always went to my local card shop and purchased booster boxes.
This is not a sign of tampering. This is a feature of MtG packs (I'm not certain which set they started doing this in, but it's been several sets, and entirely possible it started after you left) to make them easier to open.
As Lithl says that is a feature of the pack to make it easier to open. And like him, I'm not sure when they started it but its been quite some time.
Was your box in the factory shrink wrap? Hard for someone to reseal packs sealed away safely.
Lastly, the no-good-niks out there that reseal packs often times will unseal the bottom of the pack and reglue it there hoping the mark doesn't notice. Re-glued packs are easy to spot. They don't come apart like factory packs and often will have glue residue on the sealed crimps that is easily seen or even smelled.
I'd say you are okay without being able to check anything else. Let us know.

Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
If my memory servers me right, the 'easy to open' packs were introduced with (or at least around) RTR.
Anyway, those damages seem to be completely superficial and I don't see how this would be a sign of opened and resealed packs. Also, as already pointed out, as long as the box was wrapped in the shrink wrap with the wotc logos, you should be fine.

Thanks in advance for your help.
