I'm wondering if they will reprint or bring back snow-covered lands. Buying enough for a deck when they cost $2-4 each is a bit much. Has WOTC or Mark Rosewater commented on this lately? What are the chances of these coming back? I would love to see these again for multiple reasons.
Also, some new art on these lands would look amazing I'm sure if they got the right artists. Thoughts?
The snow supertype, at the most recent MaRo comment (five years ago, so not exactly recent), ranks a 7 on the storm scale, so an appearance in standard would be contingent on a setting with a very strong winter theme.
On the other hand, I can definitely see snow coming back in a masters set, at least just as a limited archetype. Masters sets are burning through mechanics to bring back at a pretty rapid clip, so snow seems like a logical next step at a certain point.

The recent change to the block structure and rotation schedule certainly helps in this regards. Without needing to design new sets in consideration of a block means we're more likely to see a return to certain mechanics or themes. The only caveat is there is greater competition from other sets and/or mechanics that will only ever see print in a single set.
In any case, IMHO, the most interesting sets ever designed were never intended to be part of a block.
