Sorry if this is the wrong forum I read the descriptions and couldn't find one for this type of thread. If there is one I would kindly appreciate it being moved there
Within the next month or so I will be moving to the South West side of Pittsburgh, about 3 miles out of downtown. I am looking for the best place to play for me.
I play modern and standard but prefer drafting and cubing. I am a very experienced player that likes to play with and against competitive decks but I am not overly serious or looking to become a pro. I like smaller groups that are more focused on having fun than making the pro tour. Preferably an older and mature crowd as I am 31 myself.
Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I live a couple hours south in West Virginia. I'm not sure about stores in your immediate area, but if you're willing to travel, there are at least a couple locations an hour or two away. I know of Sports Collectors Universe/Gaming Universe in Union Town Mall (PA) and Four Horsemen Comics in Morgantown Mall (WV).
They'd be a long drive for an FNM, but Four Horsemen have a ton of weekend events like PPTQs and others that can draw a pretty big competitive crowd. Might be worth checking out some time.
Yea I have done that and there are about 5 places all within a few miles. I was just hoping someone could point me in the place that is best for the type of player I am or give me some more information.
I am looking to get back into Magic. I am looking to be a casual player only. I played in the 90s and don't really know what this community is all about. Where do casual nerds get their Cards on here in Pittsburgh?
