In an effort to run a smooth prerelease, I was enrolling folks in my event all through the day as it became necessary. The last wave came in around 11:50, and by 11:57 I was ready to get everyone seated and distribute product. I apparently mistakenly hit enrollment complete at 11:57. Of course, my prerelease isn't going to start a day early, but the Event Reporter didn't know that. Does anyone know if this is going to cause me trouble validating my event, when my 6 round best event ever finishes sometime in the next 7 hours or so? Wizards is off customer support right now. This is more a save me a nervous stomach ache sort of thread. One doesn't invalidate 36 player prereleases, and the technicality of starting at midnight has never been in my thought process till now. This is my second midnight prerelease, as before I didn't want to embarrass myself trying to compete with the existing big dogs, but I've been around three years now, so it's time to play ball.

Scientists have calculated that the chance of anything so patently absurd actually existing are millions to one. But magicians have calculated that million-to-one chances crop up nine times out of ten.
I wouldn't expect it'll cause trouble. Our old LGS around here was run by my buddy who was a careless idiot (in a lovable way) and did that kind of thing all the time, just not paying attention to the timing and firing it off before midnight without thinking. Wizards never gave him any trouble about it.
