I was using a MLP:FiM Derpy playmat I got from Bronycon over the summer, but I just picked up this one at GP NJ over the weekend and got it signed by Christopher rush (along with his 3 Lotus cards ).
Is Chris Rush selling these Lotus playmats? I thought artists are not allowed to sell illustrations used on cards on anything that Ultra Pro makes.
Anyway, could you post a RL picture of the signed playmat?
Yeah, he was selling them for $40 each. I don't think they're ultra pro mats, and Chris probably has some sort of special agreement with WotC for Lotus swag. I almost picked one up myself since they are sweet, but realized I didn't need an 8th mat in my collection that I'm never going to use.
I guess I'm not in the majority, but I use a custom with a photograph I like by Jacob Aue Sobol, cropped a bit to fit the normal dimensions:
Some other ideas I had when ordering it were a photo of a crematorium window by a Czech photographer named Milan Bures, I'd probably have it made if I played dedicated Burn:
And since I play legacy Pox a lot, I also want to get some customs of old European paintings about the smallpox and Black Death epidemics, or the god awful stuff people got up to about them:
I have a GP Ottawa 2014 playmat. The signatures are blurry but it's signed by Marshall Sutcliffe from Limited Resources and Constructed Resources, Rashad Miller, RK Post and Yohanna Schepacz
I've been using the same mat (Sunpetal Grove) since Innistrad. During triple Innistrad draft it got to be a running joke that I was selecting my playmat for signaling purposes, since I always seemed to end up drafting GW Travel Preparations.

I've got a custom playmat that my friend got me for my birthday. It's the same picture that I use for my avatar. For those of you who don't read Awkward Zombie (for shame!), it's the last panel of this strip.
I have the old one with Lorwyn five, and I used it for some time.
Recently, I am participating on a project that creates and sells original tokens (manga and classic) with original art from local artists. One of them is custom Voja token whose art has been expanded to playmat motif, that I am using now.
I wanted a playmat that expressed my love for powerful and cheap magic, so I looked for a playmat that looked into the best one-drops in Legacy. There was none, so i created my own.
The Ahri one is the one I use the most, typically for FNMs, and was my first custom mat.
The Deadpool one is for IQ's and such.
The Weiss one was a gift from a friend and is my personal favorite.
Got one for my best friend, then had to get one myself. It gets alot of compliments. I enjoy it because its really nice looking without being distracting like 90% of playmats I've used, seen, etc. I prefer less going on so I can see the cards on the playmat more easily.
