I've attached an image from twitch.tv to help identify them. Basically, they're sleeves that don't have the glossy, reflective cover that most sleeves have.
See image below:
You can see the glare from the sleeves of the esper deck, but the GW Tokens deck is completely non-reflective. Any help would be much appreciated!
Have you considered the possibility that they are at significantly different angles to the light, and therefore might actually both be reflective, but the glare doesn't hit the lens from one side?
I'm not saying that's what's going on. Just that it's a possibility. if you were watching a video originally, and didn't even see a glare when they were manipulating / shuffling, then that would disprove this hypothesis. But from a still photo only, ehhh...
I have actually considered that, but I've watched the GW tokens guy play multiple matches, on both sides. There is no glare, and other people playing on that side have had glare from their cards.
You know if you just got to 18:16:51 in the recorded video, and just look at his hand on the table, then google the name of the sleeves, you'll find your answer.
If it's just the effect you're looking for, the Pro-Matte sleeves from UltraPro have the non-glossy fronts. I'm sure other companies also put out matte sleeves.
