anyways, another: tim, aka prodigal sorcerer (the old art), named after time the enchanter from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail."
ping: "I ping you" means "I deal you one damage." Typically this is used to refer to some source of repeatable damage, such as prodigal sorcerer, rod of ruin or just hitting with a creature a la arcbound worker.

oarick: Already had Tim added, but I'll be sure to add the history of the name. Tomorrow will bring many new things. Also, could a mod remove any of the already done requests? I don't want anymore reminders of jitte mishaps.

Overcommit- play out one's hand, resulting in a vulnerability to
Board sweepers- cards that clear out a majority of some type of permanent.
The Rock. Still not sure Exactly what this one entails, so a good definition would be appreciated. I assume it to have some form of recursion, acceleration and beef.
Oh and speaking of which:
Recursion: making use of cards even after they have reached the graveyard from any other zone (hand, library, play).
The Rock (named after Phyrexian Plaguelord ["The Rock"] and Deranged Hermit ["his millions"]) is usually a black/green aggro/control deck, with the occasional splash (e.g. Red Rock).
yes, "rock" or "the rock" typically means a Green/Black aggro-control deck, and is not format specific (though it is most prominent is extended, and sometimes pops up in standard and block. worthless in legacy/vintage). Usually it uses some sort of mana acceleration (birds, StE, etc.) to power out beef creatures (spiritmonger, ravenous baloth). It also relies on a suite of distruption and removal to survive combo decks and remove obstacles (duress, therapy, smother, pernicious deed). Since mirrodin block some forms of the rock have utilized equiptment (usually SOFI) and smaller creatures instead of larger beef (most notably ascentic troll). "red rock" would entail a rock deck which splashes for red, usually FtK and burn, sometimes burning wish, and "white rock" would be one which splashes for white, usually for loxodon heirarch.
SOFI - sword of fire and ice
FtK - flame tongue kavu

yes NO Stick is the deck which uses orim's chant + isochron scepter, in my experience the scepter has been called NO Stick as well, but perhaps that's not the norm...

And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.
...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.
Goldfishing- To play without interracting directly with any opponent and the parts of the board you don't control as if no one is playing against you.

Okay, I have a request. It turns out I didn't get nearly as much time this week to work on this, so everyone, please, refrain from making suggestions again for a while. I need to catch up to you guys. Thank you all that have made suggestions and corrections. I will let you all know when I would like more requests.
Hey, Jaharu, doesn't it seem like this should be linked to the Wiki project that MTGS has going on? It would serve as a useful forum to debate what terms should have thier own page. I know that there's a difference between a term that deserves a on-line description and one that deserves a whole page, but think of how perfect the match is: this could become a wiki entry along the lines of "Magic Terms: Lexicon"

in my experience it's more often called NO Stick because the cards imprinted on it stop you from doing things.
ie. "I play wood elves"
"Hm..." (taps scepter for counterspell) "No"

I might be wrong but NO Stick refers to the deck involving Scepter + Counters. Scepter is called Stick because of what's present on the art.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
