If you are playing at a FnM do you let dice slide for tokens or do you demand that your opponent use appropriate token cards for his or her deck?

Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. (Matthew 7:12)
Make the white queen run so fast, she hasn't got time to make you wise.
Pilot of the storm who leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream.
Doctor, my eyes, tell me what you see. I hear their cries... just say if it's too late for me.
Doctor, my eyes...cannot see the sky. Is this the prize for having learned how not to cry?
If they're playing B/W tokens and are using dice then that doesn't fly. Any token deck should pack appropriate tokens. If I Beast Within an opponent's creature and they don't have a 3/3 beast token to use, I don't mind a dice or empty sleeve or something used in its place, as long as its clear what it represents.
since wotc decided i should get a rules or tips and tricks card in 3 out of 5 packs, dice, skittles, chewing gum, boogers, its all cool when it comes to tokens.
if you're running 3 different kinds of tokens that constantly gain and lose 1/1 counters, you better have some very clear way of noting it.
If you run Beast Within? Yeah a die is fine.
As long as the identities, characteristics, and states of the tokens are clear to everyone, it doesn't matter what objects physically represent them.
You can't really "demand" that a player use the token cards -- or at least, the rules don't support your demand.
I've played against decks that make 4 or more different kinds of creature tokens, and I told my opponent to either use tokens, or get a slip of paper and write what they are (oblong so I can tell if its tapped), or even just writing 4/4 on a basic land with a sharpie. I don't care how its done, and it doesn't need to be the tokens that WotC gives you in boosters, but you can't say "this bag of skittles is a 5/5 because there are 5 different flavors in it". NOPE. That doesn't work for me, and I'll call a judge and tell them that my opponent isn't presenting a clear gamestate, and I'll win that every time.
Yeah, the key phrase is "as long as the identities, characteristics, and states of the tokens are clear to everyone."
If you plop a bag of skittles onto the table, that could be very confusing. By itself it is probably not confusing, but if there are 4 other tokens already on the table, then I think it would be confusing to anyone.

If I can tell if they're tapped or untapped, etc. I don't care what they use. I play riku as a commander in edh, and I make a LOT of tokens. I use old Cthulhu ccg cards.
Because conservative bias is a far, far worse thing. Liberal bias doesn't, statistically speaking, make people stupid. Conservative bias (or at least Fox's version of it) does.
I almost always demand proper tokens, but I lend them to my opponents; I carry over 100 unsleeved and sorted Standard-legal tokens in half of an Ultra Pro dual deck box.
I've never seen anyone demand that an opponent uses actual tokens. I'm pretty sure it's not required at the highest REL, even.
The only time where it is "required" is on Video Feature matches at highlevel events (to make it easier for the viewers to follow what is going on) but in that case the TO supplies the tokens...
Can't say I ever have. So long as the board state remains clear, I don't care if its a spirit token, a purple dice, a chocolate biscuit or their little sister.
Ok... that last one may not fly.
You're right, little sisters don't normally have Flying

dude....omg, i am in TEARS right now. the image i got in my head was priceless.
boy: AY!! GET OVER HERE!!
sister: what...
-boy slams sister on table- Aight, heres my 2/2 zombie
and a chocolate biscuit sounds awesome..i must have one...but make sure its a 4/4 flier...
I never demand they use the proper tokens since most everyone i meet just trashes them when they open some. But it is a nice touch if your deck uses tokens.

I do use the real tokens in my token dedicated deck.
I have Japanese Spirit tokens and Japanese Human tokens from Innistrad that i have sleeved up for the extra pimp factor
just a side note for everyone to remember. just because YOU use tokens doesnt mean your opponent does. some people only carry a deckbox with them. now, given that all your cards are sleeved, you cant stuff a 60 card deck, a 15 card SB, and 10 tokens into a deckbox. at least MOST deckboxes arnt built that big. so its not a necessity that they bring along. the rules dont state "you must have token cards if your making tokens".
if an opponent has dice or little marbles or whatever, i dont care. i'm not one of those people who say "I CANT SEE IT SO ITS NOT THERE!! JUDGE!!". its stupid. plus you have to think, what if they spent every last dollar they had on that deck and now you expect more from them? its not right, you shouldnt be so uptight about it.
usually when people are really uptight about things like that is when they know they will lose. so they try and find something to gain an edge. sad but true
Okay, I'll apologize next time I see the poor fellow with a $500 standard deck in FNM who can't afford a basic land and a sharpie to write 1/1 white human on it. Clearly, he's poor, that's the problem.
I like the G/W human player I saw who used Gavony Township and started stacking dice on top of her dice for counters. That's always fun.

just because he has a 500 dollar deck doesnt mean anything. your missing the point. what if he saved up that 500 dollars JUST to get that deck? you dont know his money situation, so for you to think otherwise is just ignorant.
i play with an all foil japanese humans deck. my lands alone are worth over 300 dollars (unhinged foil islands and plains), what would you say about ME?
Although, to me that seems like a slightly excessive Magic budget, especially for one deck.
it may seem excessive to you, but the lands i got over the years slowly, and the rest i traded for. i dont have much money lol. i would if i sold my binders and such, but as for physical cash i dont have it. my brother in law just saved up every dime he had to buy a deck. so just because something is expensive doesnt mean they have money floating around like crazy

If by confusing, you mean tasty, then sure.
I want to whip flare some skittle tokens then.
