I been searching for the perfect carrying case for my decks for ages. Since I have so many decks (currently around 34 decks), I need a box to be able to carrying them ALL to my college or a friend's house. Not only that, it has to be a good shape, lightweight since the decks altogether are heavy, and it needs to have separators to separate all the decks from each other, which is why it cannot be a normal card holding box.
Since I could not find one, I built my own. It holds about 1500 cards (perfect to hold ALL my decks when I had 25), it is lightweight, has multiple rows for cards and I used Ravnica separators to separate them from each other in the same row. It is cardboard and doesn't have a strap but it has a closing/locking device I designed for it. The shape of it was perfect to fit it in my backpack with my college books.
Does anyone have a good deck carrying case they'd like to mention or know of a place online or offline that has one?
Wow that is a lot of decks to be carrying at one time. I don't think there is currently a case designed to fit that many decks aside from using a cardboard box and putting it in your backpack or using the Ion deck boxes and putting those in your backpack.
I use a small aluminum laptop briefcase Its the perfect depth for a card box layed on it side. The one I have 8x4 rows of deck boxes with room to spare for dice and paper
I hate to say it, but you're probably out of luck finding a lightweight, divided box that carries 34 decks and is anything resembling 'durable'. I think your best bet for THAT is either to build one out of, say, wood, built to the dimensions you need and put it on wheels or keep it in your trunk or something; or to just put every single deck in an Ion or UltraPro deckbox and carry those.
I know of one guy who kept somewhere around that many decks with him; he had a large tacklebox/tool box sort of thing with all the dividers removed so it was just a big plastic box, and he just carefully stacked all of his decks in there, each one in its own precon/tournament pack box.
Personally, I swear by my Ion boxes for EDH decks and my Dragon's Egg for everyday use. The Ion boxes can have the flap separate from itself if you toss them around TOO much, but I fixed that with a little Gorilla Glue, and just started keeping a better eye on it and not letting it get tossed around. The Egg is damned near indestructible in my experiences. It has 4 inner compartments, and each one can easily fit a sleeved 60 card deck, plus sideboard, divider, and a few sleeved tokens. One compartment can also easily fit 2 unsleeved decks + sideboards and a few dividers. It has velcro-shut pockets on the sides, perfect for dice or beads. It has a pocket on front for extra sleeves, or a few dice/spindowns, or packs. It has a small pocket on the back good for a pad of paper. It zips shut, and the top has a zippered compartment that can fit sleeves, or your wallet/phone/iPod/whatever. I use it to hold EVERY plane and Scheme card I have, plus a few spare packets of sleeves.
I'm not sure HOW waterproof it is, but I carried it through pretty heavy rain and the cards were fine. The plastic case for the bottom part is strong, too. I've seen one thrown across the room without a scratch.
I have the same problem as I carry all my casual decks (about 50) to each gaming night. Currently, they fit in two two-row longboxes (with a smaller box for a couple more) and I just carry them. Annoying though.
I'm entertaining the idea of getting an ammo box! Metal, indestructible *, carrying handle... yeah.
I have a few friends that carry regular business-like briefcases. They can carry about 10 fat pack boxes with between 3 (EDH) and 5 (60 card deck, sleeved but not in its own box) decks each. It has a mesh compartment in the top for dice, counters, and paper.
I had the same issue with storing and carrying all my casual decks. I did, however, find a pretty nifty container at Michaels. The cropper hopper blue photo case - 2000. It's technically a photo/scrapbooking case, but that doesn't matter. It is double sided, although one side is not very deep at all. I use it to store token cards. It was $30, but 40% off Michaels coupons are super easy to get ahold of (sign up for email coupons). You can order one off their website at www.cropperhopper.com My only issue with it is the handle is plastic, too, and it broke. Fortunately, making a new handle won't be hard.
Anyways, here are some pictures:

That's a pretty awesome case you got there. If I built a new handle and attached a strap that might be perfect. Only problem I have though is that I don't have most of my decks in containers, I wonder if they would bounce around a lot.
You could probably tape some note cards or card stock in the pockets to keep them from bouncing around and getting mixed up.

Well, many casual players make large amounts of decks to play around a kitchen table with their friends. I have all my casual decks in that plastic case. My legacy and type 2 decks go into an ultra pro case. Generally when I go to a tourney i'll take a deck of each type with me, and put sleeves, dice, counters, etc in the extra pockets.

My LGS owner had a metal deck carrying case with mana symbols on it. He said he get it in Europe or something...it was the coolest deck case I ever seen.

Build your own. It's a good woodworking project. I'm currently relining mine with a purple velvet interior instead of the green felt it used to have. Black vinyl interior, nicle plated hardware. It's sharp.
I intentionally try not to carry too many cards around. I have one of the Rook 4 count metal boxes. Normally I would carry 3 decks, 3 sB and a bunch of sleeved tokens/dice in the last box.
Hard to walk off with and very durable.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
Only suggestion, have them do a custom cut foam for you. The pick and pluck foam tray sucks, since it eventually breaks apart.
I had them do a custom cut to match this http://battlefoam.com/images/C4Card.JPG
It holds 4 deck boxes, the wholes in the middle work for a box of d6 and one assorted box of dice.
I have this lunchbox-like official MTG bag/case from Star City Games. It's awesome since it has room for two fat pack boxes then more space for extra stuff.

Holy crap, that case is awesome, one of the pictures shows a cutout with spaces for 36 decks and 8 larger decks. I may have found my new carrying box.
In other news, besides the boxes that come with the fat packs, I notice many of my friends have had great ideas on storing their cards. I've seen a guy hold his in a basic lunch box, one guy had his deck in a raisins box, one guy had his in a laptop case, one guy has his in a lighter case. I hold my dice in a Tootsie roll bank lol.
I have a dead Xbox and was thinking of taking its guts out and placing decks and separators in there lol.

If you're referring to this pic http://battlefoam.com/images/C4Troop.JPG , no that tray is the same size as the 4 deck one I linked. This tray is made for models for games like warmachine, warhammer, ect.

Weirdly, standard has been BAD since JTMS was banned, it hasn't been fun, nor healthy since.
