CMC = converted mana cost, the total (or maximum) amount of mana you need to play the card, regardless of color. So cmc(3) = 3, cmc(2R) = 3 and cmc(:sym2g::sym2g::sym2g:) = 6.

Hence why I asked for an "updated" version. The last edit on stick post was made in 2008. Because this was the most recent thread that hadn't been updated, I used the search engine before asking this question and and posted in the thread since i thought it pertained closest to my question, and get a warning for taking the extra precaution? I thought you encouraged us to use the search function as cited by your general FAQ. It would be most helpful if you would actually list possible infractions/warnings on your general FAQ information that you automatically site before tossing out warnings to which they pertain to. As it was another thing I had checked before deciding to ask the question on this post.
I guess I shouldn't search through threads to see if my question had been answered after all. Or to see if the question had been answered recently. I might note that the answer really wasn't given in this past thread either. So to reiterate my question, where can I find a list of the newest acronyms for the whole current T2 format? The ones that are ubiquitous in these forums.
If you're interested specifically in Standard, I'd suggest asking in Standard if you don't get the responses you're looking for here.
The suggestion of using the Search function is more to see if your question has been asked and answered in the past. Posting on incredibly old threads is still discouraged. Sorry for the confusion, but that's sort of the point of Warnings. If you have any other rules-related questions, please post them on my Helpdesk as opposed to within this thread.

What do those stand for?
APNAP
EDH
Not sure what you're looking for exactly (you'd need to list more), but to answer your current ones:
APNAP= "Active Player, Non-Active Player", which is the template for multiple triggers in the order going on the stack.
EDH= "Elder Dragon Highlander", a custom format of Magic The Gathering. We have a forum dedicated to this specific format, actually.
Others also include:
CIPT= "Comes Into Play Tapped", a shortcut acronym when specifying the abilities of certain cards, like Savage Land.
Damage
Enchant/equip
Block
Target
