Hmmmm... you know - you guys keep asking me if I can take PayPal (which I can't). Perhaps we could work something out where you make a purchase FOR me using your PayPal and then we could consider it a 'trade'. On the other hand, there are a few cards I would quickly trade straight across for. I'm sure you'd never guess what they are... <rolling eyes smiley thingie>
I'll put together a list after the Prerelease, I promise, but I don't think this would be the appropriate place to post such a list and I don't know how to set up things like that, so anybody who asks, I'll be happy to send it out. Thanks for asking.

Yeah, you'd want to post that in the Trading Post forum. I'd for sure be interested in trading for one. They look very cool.

wow to bad of coarse he sells them to members here for 9 bucks but you havent been here long enough. you looked through my trading list already havent you and you didnt see anything... well id like to get one since i didnt make it to prerelease but im saving up for my box which is only 65 bucks he he he... normally 120$
I scored one of the life counters at the pre-release and I must say they are friggin' awesome. Only problem is it's hard to choose what to put on top
P.S. Thanks for being awesome at the pre-release Traz, (I was the teenager with the "I make stuff up" shirt and traded for two of your awesome token sheets ;))
Well, the Prerelease didn't go quite as I planned, but it was fun meeting a few of you guys! I didn't get ANY of the cards I was hoping for [with the exception of 1 KUDZU], but I did pull a WATERY GRAVE[!]. I couldn't find my old BoPs in time to take to trade for the new ones. :-( But I was able to get few cool things by trading my Tokens. Feel free to ask about my 1/4 card size tokens for trade (never for sale).
I'm always willing to talk trade for a LIFE SPINNER - I always need the cool rare I never see in boosters from the current expansion, so never be afraid to e-mail me directly -
Here is what I did with my 1st Terran Games counter 8^) I bought a painted mini that caught my eye on ebay, which was reasonably priced (had no idea these things can go for so much painted!) and I modified it a bit; I just changed the cloak from red to green; green looks much cooler than the red imo. Then painted the base.
I can recommend using "Zap-a-Gap" super glue; I guess it is one of the most popular glues for miniatures and it works awesome. I was using it to put together another angel mini (which will be the next one I make) and was worried about her wings coming off with much use, and there is no way those things are coming off with this glue, the body of the figure would break before the wings broke off.
Whoa, Valandil! That is an AWESOME photo! Consider yourself entered for the prototype contest! How in the world did you paint the numbers like that? You're the second guy to get the numbers to stand out in the awesome gold like that - I guess some of us are just paint challenged.
Thanks! All I did for the numbers was use a tiny paintbrush and I only painted the very flat top part of the numbers and not the sides; just barely touched the tops of them with paint. Also, I think you could take a somewhat bigger (expendable) paintbrush and cut it with scissors to form a finer point.
Below is the angel one although it's actually a winged elf girl; it is almost finished, just needs another coat on the counter areas and I'm torn between metallic green or gunmetal colored pointer/numbers. As it is though, it reminds me of a more elaborate single-colored scrye counter of old.
The second pic is one I am thinking of doing next, I like how the elf gal's sword points right at the number. There are a few Reaper miniatures I spotted that could give that same effect as well. I think I will get two more counters sometime soon and make 2 more and then cut myself off for a while hehe. They have been pretty fun to make.
I like them so much that I almost don't want to actually use them and just display them lol. But I'm going to get this stuff called "Testor's Dullcote" I think it is called; you spray it on and it creates a protective, clear and non-glossy covering.
Those are both very nice - for some reason I am drawn to the one with the sword...
In other news, I think I may need to ask folks here to send payment before I send SPINNERs. I have been burned twice now by people on this website. It's a real shame. I thought that wouldn't happen here... perhaps I'm just being naive, but I thought the folks here were a cut above the usual crowd. I have certainly enjoyed meeting some of you at the Prerelease and have appreciated the many kind comments on the LIFE SPINNER, both public and private. Looking forward to serving more of you.
Thanks, Tanthalas, I appreciate that. Upon further review, I find that the one fellow hadn't been on here very long and had no references whatsoever. So, let me modify my last statement. If you have no references, I'll ask you to send first. My bad for not paying attention and just getting excited that folks are as excited about the SPINNER as I am. Sometimes I can be such a noob.
So, apologies all around. You are absolutely correct. Almost everybody here has been completely supportive and had nice things to say and I appreciate it very much. The whole reason I even made these things was because I love this game and I enjoy the social interaction it provides - that means folks like you. So please excuse my momentary lapse. I refuse to allow a few bad apples to spoil my fun.
Warning, it's like 13 MB, and you can hear my dryer tumbling in the background. Also, it looks like I'm trying to hand model, which I wasn't.
Oh my boy...please d/l this video, then upload it on your webserver and remove the link to the other video. All I did was compress it, but if alot of people d/l the old vid, you can kill your bandwidth. This one is only 2 mb.
That video didn't work for me, Oddity, but thanks for trying!
I used my life counter at the RAV prerelease and got a lot of positive comments on it. People really liked it even though I just have a blue D6 glued to mine.
My only problem was occasionally having a little trouble getting it to settle into the grooves when changing the life total. Not a big deal and probably hard to fix.
Traz: I remember seeing someone sell these or something similar at the San Jose Ravnica Prerelease. Are you the guy who makes tokens of like everything and trades them for random cards that you find interesting?
YANPro - yes, that was me at San Jose. I've been doing the Tokens for about 4 years now, and having a great time with them! People are now starting to look for ME to trade for them! Woohoo!
Rancored_elf - if you tip the point that goes to your life number first, you'll find the other two points settle in just fine. I refer to it as 'locking in place'. That is on purpose. The older style ones by REAPER just sat on top and were subject to easy jostling leading to the counter getting tossed off trak - which is why some folks stopped using them (and I was told by more than one person why they stopped making them). I felt that was a shame because I've always liked the heft and feel of pewter and the many cool miniatures out there. My first one I put an UNCLE ISTVAN mini on top of and it was VERY cool, but it got ripped off. :-( I've had my BATTLETECH one ever since and have been saving the WOLVERINE on my new SPINNER for the day when I might find another. Never figured I would have to create something newer and better - but what the hey!
Recent trades dictated that I update my trade list (it has gotten VERY SHORT - basically JITTEs and NEEDLEs), so I edited my list. I still need a few cards and still have some SPINNERS, so give a look and let me know.
Here are a couple pics from a local guy. If you look closely at the figure on the left with the huge arm he is standing on a protoype. You will notice it is slimmer in thickness.

$10 + $3 (shipping) = $13.
That's when you order from me direct. And if you're short on cash, send me your short list of trades. That's as simple as I can make it.
I just wish I knew how to solder smoothly... ;-)
