So far, I'm the only person I've ever met who collects the Pro Tour player cards. (I have 84 of the 85 so far. . . I'm still looking for PT06 21/30.)
I have my collection in my trade binder. Not to trade with, mind you, but simply as a conversation piece.
Since I haven't seen anyone else collect them, what do all the rest of you do with your Pro Tour player cards? I'm sure a lot of you just throw them away, but if anyone does anything else creative or amusing with them, please post here.
I know a few people that rip the head of the pro player out of the card, and eitehr use them for short term tokens, or put on other cards, ie Godhead of Awe (Covering her face).

I have around 400 and I use them as token and store the rest in a box. I pick them up at prereleases, sealed GPs .... most anywhere people open them and dont want them.

I rip them in half every time I see them. Sometimes I like to walk around Prereleases and find ones that people have left behind and tear those in half.
If I have enough of Pro Tour cards on me at one time (eg. fter opening a box or at a pre-release) then I make Menger cubes (those cubes made of folded cards on which there was an Arcana on a while ago). Otherwise I bin them.

Saemar is not a wizard, is not fighting on a battlefield and is not casting spells.

That sounds pretty strange to me. Why rip the head off a pro tour player card to use as a token? Why not just use the whole card?

21/30 '06 is Masashi Oiso. I checked the box, but I don't have a spare one, sorry!
Thanks for checking. At least now I know who it is so I can ask.

They go in the trash pile with Tip Cards and Commons (past the 4x I get in my initial box purchase).
Might I suggest saving the commons to give out to onlookers to encourage them to get into the game?

Why??

I give them away to people who ask.
And a big thumbs-up to you, sir. If you ever come across PT 06 21/30, Masashi Oiso, PLEASE let me know!
I'm too much of a pack rat to throw them away but I don't have anything to do with them so they usually end up sitting in the tournament box I got them in (which I also can't bring myself to throw away).

"...because without beer, things do not seem to go as well."
I was working at GameStop (Lorwyn release), and the price of Tournament packs was entered wrong, they were only about six dollars with my employee discout, so I bought the store's stock of them. I gave all of my pro cards to a friend who doesn't play magic, and he made a deck. We played a couple times, close matches those were.

The Great Creature Token Project
Well, it looks like people either throw them out or just let them amass, while a select few others use them for creature tokens.
Does anyone have PT06 21/30, Masashi Oiso, who came with Time Spiral? I'm desperate--I'll trade you a rare for him!
