I also am not a fan of mechanics like landwalk and intimidate (especially landwalk because I never really understood the flavor). Landwalk punishes you for playing Magic, while intimidate is often just unblockable with a different name. In Iamur, the options of blocking a creature with intimidate are less black and white, though. There are creatures that are all colors, acting as an "intimireach" as well as creatures that can change their color or become colorless. A black deck will still have a better chance of blocking a black intimidater, but the difference is far less significant than in other sets.
I like how Cover with Kelp got printed recently as Song of the Dryads (except Song makes it colorless).
I know it's probably not a greatly fun way to handle the evasion situation, you could always take the Horsemanship route, call it Breach or Dive. Plus the set's done so that's kind of done, but it's a thought. I don't dislike the use of intimidate, I just wish the keyword held the flavor of the set a little better.

It's nothing to worry about. It's kinda cool that people still get back to this set even after that long time.
I'd also enjoy discussing the mechanics again. I commend DJK3654 for taking the time to comment on so many sets as he does, which is great because most sets don't get enough feedback anyway. But as a consequence the feedback isn't very in-depth and on a set that's been through all of design, playtesting, and development, such a feedback isn't too helpful.

Their's a flavor disconnection between intimidate and the color mechanics. I feel that individually both are very flavorful. On the one hand intimidate, as one of the set's themes are sea monsters, which are kinda intimidating. On the other hand the color theme, representing physical colors. Colorless creatures can't be blocked because they are invisible in the deep, and a luminescent creature can see better, but is also spotted more easily. The connection between both doesn't make sense, but that has somewhat to do with intimidate not being a very flavor-connected mechanic in the first place.
Man I thought I had this idea fist, amazing set, fantastically done, beautiful. One thing I would change is to make the basic lands more distinguishable, mainly making the plains sprawling sand dunes on the sea floor (the real plains of the sea) rather than sunken cities.
Forests-kelp,
mountains-rock formations,
islands-coral reefs,
Swamps-dark muddy caves
When I was formulating ideas for my underwater set 5 years ago, I thought of plains as wide open fields of seaweed, not unlike razor grass plains. Using coral reefs as islands is a great idea, and giant sprawling Kelp forests is definitely the way to go. Generic rock formations are easily distinguished from coral reefs and the sort of creepy dark abyss thing is perfect for swamps.

This is a pretty tight set. And you did a pretty good job of finding good art.
Nixie as a creature type... why?
What is with the "all colors" theme that has no accompanying mechanic?
Song of the Wurmcallers - Either change the name to Song of the Serpentcallers, or change it to make Wurm tokens instead of Serpent tokens.
Venomous Jellies - Why is this all colors?
Radiant Corona - Again with the all colors?
Bloodkelp Lumomancer - An odd bleed. Seems like blue and green should be changing colors, not red.
Rune of Deephome - You could errata this to give menace.
Depths of Mind - Should be worded like this imo:
Depths of Mind (Rare)
1U
Instant
Name a card. Reveal the top five cards of your library. Put all cards with the chosen name into your hand and the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. If the named card wasn't revealed, return Depths of Mind to its owner's hand.
Diverging Surge - Something tells me this is super busted beyond belief.
Follow the Light - My OCD is kicking in. I desperately want this to gain you 2 life.
Embracement - The card name doesn't make sense (in fact, it isn't even a word). This is a tough bleed for me to take. Sure there's Harmonize, but this, I dunno. It would be easier to palate as a hybrid.
Æther Torrent - You could retemplate this to current modal formatting.
Abyssal Mosa - This should be a Hydra. And it has to be super busted.
Tidesprite the Seer - Seems busted.
Xaelas, the Floodcaller - The first ability shouldn't be able to return lands. Landlocking an opponent so easily is super busted and not fun at all. Perhaps make it tap target permanent. It doesn't untap during next untap step. It has synergy with the -8 anyways.
Reworking Iamur is somewhere on my To-Do-List. I have an .mse-file called Iamur Reimagined, but currently the only difference to the Iamur file are updates to the templating.
Changes that I have planned include:
More compatibility with Overworld. Iamur has the "power 8 or greater" theme, while Overworld has the sea monster tribal. I think there's just no reason why Iamur shouldn't have sea monster tribal as well.
Remove Duet. It's a flavorful but terrible mechanic.
Clean up the creature type mess. Nixies will be Nymphs, Murlocs will be Fish, and Naga i don't know yet. Maybe Mutant.
More constructed playables. There are only ~3 Constructed playable cards in the set.
About the colors: Being all colors is the "intimidate-reach" of the set. Didn't you pick up on that theme?
Yea, Naga I'm the least sure about that I want to change them. Lore-wise, the Naga of Iamur are humans that have been krakified by Nolgul. I don't know if that could qualify as Naga. But the definition of Vampire seems to be very elastic as well, from Ex-Eldrazi to human victims of a crazy scientist.

Recommedation: Update in terms of the Origins Evergreen changes. Remove intimidate, add menace (and prowess and scry). Use a strong token theme as the 'reach' to counteract this increased amount of menace (and probably trample).
I won't remove the color-based unblockability theme, but I will replace Intimidate with a similar keyword, named Lightless, Hidden, or something like that.
The more I look at this set, the more I like it. You've put quite a bit of subtlety into it. I imagine there would be quite a bit of flavor, mechanical, and interactive discovery playing it.
It seems like you could be drawing more from the plentiful and flavorful underwater races that already exist in Magic, such as Cephalid, Crab, Nautilus, Squid, Oyster, and Homarid? (Homarids in particular could use some love.)
Anemone Gobbler – There’s nothing wrong with this being a beast, but in light of Narwhal, I could see this as a whale. "Gobbler" sounds like a turkey, how about Manatee?
Eversong Scallop – “Clam” is a creature type from Unglued. This is a perfect candidate for Nautilus.
Fish Charmer – According to Wikipedia, nixies are “are shapeshifting water spirits in Germanic mythology and folklore who usually appeared in forms of other creatures.” Your changelings have none of these characteristics. There is absolutely nothing that differentiates them from Merfolk. In fact, they’re basically just sexy Merfolk. They need something that identifies them as a unique race and/or make them into a race that already exists in Magic. For example, perhaps they could be the race that exclusively has Melody.
Goldshimmer Seahorse – “Seahorse” probably doesn’t need to be a creature type. Horse Fish would be cool and kinda funny in a good way. Or Horse Nautilus.
Lantern Bearer – In Magic, Clerics heal and/or protect. This does neither. It’s just a generic Merfolk.
Patron of the Sea – Another Nixie that is quite sexy but not very nixie. And it’s a white Cleric that does something white and clerical with red mana. This card doesn’t add up.
Priest of Moonfathom – The artwork looks much more Nixie-like than Merfolkish.
Senyn Supreme – There’s a lot of Clerics in this set. This shouldn’t be a Cleric or it should be altered to fit the Cleric class. It doesn’t heal or protect or buff or even evoke a sense of religious behavior.
Coral Bank – “Coral” isn’t and shouldn’t be a creature type. Just make the creature type Wall. Also, since the set has “all colors” as a theme, go with Devoid formatting and make a unique card border rather than straight up gold. That being said, I think you should limit the "all colors" text to your 0/1 fish tokens.
Twist the Tides – This simply MUST be renamed to School of Fish
Blackreef Scavenger – I’m actually okay with Murlocs as a Magic race. They’re basically sea Goblins. I do think they’re a WoW/Blizzard/Hearthstone proprietary creation though (at least in name), which probably makes them unprintable in a real set.
Boxing Squid – The name includes Squid, the art is of an octopus, and the creature type is a Kraken. This card isn’t adding up.
Here Be Dragons – This just makes no sense at all.
Murloc Goliath – This seems completely out of color. Is there a precedent for this effect in black?
Petrifying Gaze – This doesn’t need to be rare. It’s basically Go for the Throat, which is an instant.
Sea Floor Lurker – The red mana has no place here.
Spawn of Ctaleth – This is a perfect example of a Cephalid.
Bloodbath – This card needs Swallow to be of any use. And should cost 3R
Bubbling Magma – Magic doesn’t do X mana costs at common. This could just be something like 4R, swallow, deal 5 damage.
Denizen of the Magma Sea – Now that I think about it, there I a shocking lack of elementals in this set. The art doesn’t look elemental.
Dragon of the Sea – This should be a Dragon or Dragon Serpent.
Elder of Deephome – Another Elemental that isn’t elemental. Looks kinda like a Murlock.
Goblin Pearldiver – This surface dweller doesn’t belong in the set – especially alongside Murlocks.
Murloc Forager – This would probably warp limited.
Spiky Urchins – I wonder if WotC would make a new creature type Urchin or categorize it into something else.
Abyssal Harbinger – I doubt this would be printed at common. More likely uncommon.
Pearlreef Mystic – This is more likely to be the common.
Coralskin Maiden – This should just have Melody GW. I suggest dropping the “you may” clause.
Blazing Trident – The equip cost on this is needlessly high.
Diving Golem – Artifact matters is a very odd mechanical choice for the set.
Eye of Iamur – This is probably super-busted. At least make it mythic.
Irrevocable Destroyer – This card has “not fun” written all over it.
Statues of Emerien – Unbearably bad. Should be common.
I really adore this fan-made set. Not only because of the top-down flavor, but also as a GW ramp player who sees Melody as amazing.
I personally quite like the "intimidate-reach" aspect of the "all colors" and "chameleon"-like abilities, and think it's rather flavorful - several under-da-sea creatures can alter their own color, though mostly octopi.
