This set is far from perfect, but it's time to move on. Barring any huge objections, I'll be requesting a mod to close the topic and move all three sets to the 'completed sets' thread. The sets will continue to evolve over time, and as they do they will be updated on our blog where they are hosted, and any updates to the set can be addressed there. It's been an extremely fun ride, and though I'm the first to admit that things aren't perfect, I'm very happy where things have ended up.
I have a few other ideas for projects I'll start eventually. A high powered cube built around 5 3-color 'wedges', and a block built thematically around the American Old West. Mostly for now I'll be popping in on the forums when I have the time and posting feedback on other people's sets - for those reading, if you haven't checked it out yet you really ought to look at Apoquallyp's underwater set, Iamur.
So, last call for feedback before I close this thing!
Why exactly has the thread to be closed? If someone wants to post something, why prevent it?
Talking to yourself?
LOL it could be viewed that way... I've been following Iamur, such as I've been able to, I just haven't jumped in yet because of how little time I've been able to spend on here over the past few months.
As for closing the thread... there are a few reasons to close it. First, it's forum policy that when a set is moved to completed status, its thread is closed. It also signals that I'm no longer actively working on the sets (although, as I said, I'm sure they will be updated on occasion for the foreseeable future). The process could go on forever, but we're at a point where I'm ready to move on to other things, and keeping the thread open makes me feel obligated to stay on top of it, something I'm barely able to do now.
All that being said, any last feedback on any of the three sets?
I'm keeping it in the wings for now, but it was one of the few things I could theoretically cut to make room for Consume.
My custom sets:
Caeia Block (Released - Beta)
Generals of Dareth (In Design)
