Golden rule reads "If a card breaks a game rule, the card wins." So, it there's in play an indestructible creature, and suppouse I have a card that reads "Destroy target indestructible creature" then technically (and rulewise alsaw) the creature will be destroyed; Game rules reads "Indesructible ("Destroy" effects and lethal damage don't destroy it.)" My card, on the other hand, reads "Destroy target indestructible creature". Game rule says it can't be destroyed, my card says it can. Am I right here or am I missing something? (I need to know because I may use some rulebreaking effects in my cards design.)
Ok, but that's not the point. So the card reads "Destroy target creature that is indestructible" or "Destroy target creature that has 'This creature is indestructible'".
Anyway please answer my question.
It seems sort of silly to ridicule a company for marketing efforts. Of course they are going to hype upcoming products, every company on the face of the planet does it, and it works, thats why they do it. There isn't really any sense complaining about it. If you don't like the marketing, ignore it.
I'm just trying to add more aspects to card design... take this card for example:
Schorching FireR
Instant (C)
Destroy target creature with protection from red.
Normal rule-wise, ofcours it can't work because protection from red prevents the creature from becoming the target of red spells... BUT, the golden rule says that if a card breaks a game rule the card wins. So, protection says "can't be targeted by X", and my card says "target the X".
You may call those cards "advanced players cards" because it's obvious that noobs won't know what hit them...
Well, protection doesn't protect a permanent from being destroyed anyway, so that has nothing to do with the question. If the question is "can I destroy an indestructible permanent even if the card says to destroy it?" then the answer is no. Wrath of God says to destroy all creatures without any restrictions, and it still can't get rid of the Colossus. Saying "target creature that is indestructible" is a RESTRICTION, not a way to circumvent the rules. CARDS beat the RULES, but "CAN'T" beats a "CAN." Can it be destroyed? Obviously, it can't be destroyed...
Now, if you said "Destroy target creature that is indestructible as thought it weren't indestructible," then that would work.
Morsetlis' way would work. The main problem with the earlier methods is that it's still just trying to destroy an indestructible creature, which it will just laugh at and toss aside. You need some sort of replacement effect (indestructible not technically being a keyword certianly complicates the matter...). Another possible solution is:
Darksteel's Demise 2B
Instant
Target indestructible creature's control sacrifices it.
You're probably right, but how about "messing" with the rules a bit?
Schorching Fire
Instant (C)
Schorching Fire deals 11 damage to target artifact creature. If that creature then has a lethal damage on it and it's not destryoed, ignore all his abilities and destroy it.
i think its better worded like the way anti ublockable worded.. like what ZasZ234 suggested earlier.. and its better than saying ignoring its static ability since it will make the card more confusing..
Scorching Fire R
Instant
Scorching Fire deals 3 damage to target artifact creature. If an indestructible creature is dealt lethal damage this way, destroy it as though it weren't indestructible.
or if you meant to hose regenration, then just put the cant be regenerated clause into it..
Perviate
Instant (R)
Put target indestructible creature into its owner’s graveyard.
This is the exact opposite of Beacon of Unrest. Reverse of "Put target creature card from a graveyard into play."
It doesn't destroy or force sacrifice which both have different wording. This, you just put it from in play into the graveyard.
If you do not like that wording and would like it to be with damage, I would do this:
Smelting FireR
Instant (C)
Smelting Fire deals 3 damage to target artifact creature. If that creature is indestructible and is dealt lethal damage this turn, remove it from the game.
Instant
Target artifact creature's controller sacrifices it.
I'm just concerned that all this rule-breaking is going to lead to continuous oneupmanship in design.

No, it will not. "Indestructible" is a defined term that means "This permanent can't be destroyed." That is an effect, and a "can't do X" effect beats out somthing that says "X can happen," or "Do X."
But the rules do allow a way to do what you want. "Destroy target indestrucible as though it were not indestructible."

This is probably the simplest way for this, but it should be uncommon, not common.
Indestructible means it can't be destroyed. You must find a way that does not destroy. It could be as simple as:
Perviate
Instant (R)
Put target indestructible creature into its owner’s graveyard.
Now, if you said "Destroy target creature that is indestructible as thought it weren't indestructible," then that would work.
Darksteel's Demise 2B
