Mutation- When this card is put into a graveyard from anywhere, you may reveal a card of the same type with mutation in your hand and play it without paying its mana cost. If that card is played this way, remove it from the game instead of putting it into it's owner's graveyard.
Same type= sorcery, instant, creature, etc. right?
I want the card to be removed from the game after (and if) it resolves.
Thanks!

502.22 Flashback
502.22a Flashback is a static ability of some instant and sorcery cards that functions while the card is in a player's graveyard. "Flashback [cost]" means "You may play this card from your graveyard by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost. If you do, remove this card from the game instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack." Playing a spell using its flashback ability follows the rules for paying alternative costs in rules 409.1b and 409.1f-h.
The ability seems insular, uncorrelated flavor-wise, and a bit broken. It would be funny if you remove both cards... kinda in a fusion-sort of way.

You're right. It was just an initial idea for the ability of a certain group of cards in my set. I was having difficulty thinking of something for them and came up with that, but I'm definitely changing it. A lot. Thanks you for the wording help, though!
the word mutation doesn't seem to match the ability... This might be a little cleaner...
Doppel (When this card is put into a graveyard from anywhere, each player may reveal from his or her hand a card with doppel that shares a type with this card, and play that card without paying its mana cost. The next time a card played this way would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, remove it from the game instead.)
if it the card is an instant or sorcery, you would just remove it from the game right after it resolves. If it is a creature or enchantment, you would have to mark it somehow or otherwise keep track of it.
