Help with wording/ reminder text would be appreciated as well.
Precedent :1mana::symuw::symuw::symuw::symuw:
Enchantment
You may play precendent at end of turn, but only at end of turn.
Record the events of the most recent turn. Whenever something would happen to a card that shares a name with a record card, what happens to that card becomes what is recorded instead. (For example, if "Wrath of God" was countered this turn and put into a graveyard, whenever "Wrath of God" would be played, instead it is countered and put into a graveyard.)
I don't see how this can work without a more specific definition of "recording" and/or "something happens." Is "resolving" recorded, so that one successful Wrath means that whenever Wrath would be countered, it resolves instead? Or whenever Wrath would be played, it resolves instead? What happens if a Wrath gets targeted by Ertai's Meddling? Does a subsequent Wrath get the same number of counters?

The idea is interesting, but I think it may be a little to clunky for a card.

EDIT: Perhaps something with imprint could work?

Looks like a mess to me.
Without a definition of 'whenever something would happen', I just don't see this card working out.
