Well, yes and no. You can't sacrifice creatures you don't control, then it will be pratically useless if you play it on an opponent's creature. However, if you want it to sacrifice any creature it is attached to, it needs changes.
Suggestions to fix it:
— Enchant creature you control. (if you want it to sacrifice only your creatures)
— Sacrifice enchanted creature as though you controlled it: Effect.
— Put enchanted creature into its owner's graveyard: Effect.
Sacrifice To sacrifice a permanent, its controller moves it from the in-play zone directly to its owner’s graveyard. A player can’t sacrifice something that isn’t a permanent, or something that’s a permanent he or she doesn’t control. If an effect instructs a player to sacrifice a permanent that he or she doesn’t control, nothing happens. Sacrificing a permanent doesn’t destroy it, so regeneration or other effects that replace destruction can’t affect it.
So you wouldn't have been able to activate the ability in the first place. I was thinking that you would attempt to sacrifice the creature, but it would do nothing and you'd counter without losing a creature.

Getting the last word does not mean that you win the argument.
While there is nothing wrong* with the card in its present form, changing it to "enchant creature you control" would reduce the confusion, remove all attempts by experienced players to cheat the less experienced players, and in general improve the play experience.
* Actually there is. It's a creature enchantment that costs 5 mana and allows you to spend 2 cards to counter a spell. Wow.
There is nothing wrong, rules-wise, with the wording. It is essentially covered by the rule (glossary, under "cost") that says "A player can't pay a cost unless he or she has the necessary resources to pay it fully."
My only gripe is the fact that the counter ability feels blue, but making the controler of the spell gain life feels white. Apart from that, the card is absolutly EXCELLENT! Well done!
The controller of the spell loses life.
Flavorwise, if players are spellcasters/planeswalkers, then spells don't "appear" until they resolve. So the sphere that engulfs the creature is shot at the opposing planeswalker stopping his chanting mumbo-jumbo and sorta explodes on contact, dealing some reasonable damage. Like i said in my card entry, it's a twist on Undermine.
Thanks for the comments and reviews!
Edit: I got a final round to participate in!
