Well. I love my Dakkon Blackblade And well... I want him back! Kinda, but the same style of effect would be rather.. plain. So, i thought this up.

Legendary Creature - Incarnation
- -Ability 1- At the beginning of your upkeep, tap 3 lands and add one colorless mana into your mana pool or Dakkon Reborn deals damage to you equal to the amount of lands in play. -Ability 2- Manapools do not empty at the end of turns. This effect dose not end even if Dakkon Reborn leaves play or is removed from game. -Ability 3- Dakkon Reborn's power and toughness are equal to the ammount of mana left in your mana pool. */*
This brings up some some problems in using him. His mana cost, not only is it realy high, but 3 color. Not only that, but your opponent can screw you over by destroying your lands. Plus side, your mana pool will not empty again. Even more, this creature grows with mana in your pool. Awesome.
Well what ya think... (Note, green is not in his cost and using green to make alot of mana to grow him would make the deck 4 color, and probaly hard to play... But oh well.)

If it looks like a bug, sounds like a bug, and acts like a bug then it's probably working as intended.
Second, he should be green. A lot of green. His abilities are all so very green.
Third, he should be red. A bit of red. His first ability is kind of red.
There is no black, blue, or white about him.
"At the beginning of your upkeep, tap 3 lands and add one colorless mana into your mana pool or Dakkon Reborn deals damage to you equal to the amount of lands in play."
"At the beginning of your upkeep, you may add 1 to your mana pool and tap three untapped lands you control. If you do not, Dakkon deals damage to you equal to the number of lands in play."
Manapools do not empty at the end of turns. This effect dose not end even if Dakkon Reborn leaves play or is removed from game.
"Mana pools don’t empty at the end of phases or turns. (This effect stops mana burn.)"
This effect most certainly ends when Dakkon leaves play.
Dakkon Reborn's power and toughness are equal to the ammount of mana left in your mana pool.
Dakkon Reborn's power and toughness are equal to the amount of mana in your mana pool.
Hmm... Seems that its not quite working as intended.... So then!
------At the beginning of EACH upkeep, tap 3 lands and add 1 colorless mana into your mana pool or Dakkon Reborn deals damage to you equal to the amount of lands in play.
------Manapools do not empty at the end of phases.
------Dakkon Reborn's power and toughness are equal to the amount of mana in your mana pool.
Red green would be a neet idea... His original colors were Black, Blue, White, all the colors hes not... Making "one step further" kinda of creature from Dakkon Blackblade...
One could even go as far as create a new style of card. Lets call it "Upgrade" for now. In where, say in a serious, they reprint alot of favoret creatures, then make spesific upgrade cards that read:
------ This card can only be played if _____________ is in your hand or on the field.
------ Bound X (As long as _____________ is in play, you may play this spell for free. This card is bound to ___________, the creature cannot preform any action untim X turns are up. )
------ "Effect"

Just a little cleanup: At the beginning of each upkeep, tap 3 untapped lands you control (that's key ;)) and add 1 to your mana pool, or Dakkon Reborn deals damage to you equal to the number of lands in play.

I thought this sounded familar Rosewater said Molimo, Maro-Sorcerer was kind of a Dakkon reincarnation: "We changed him from his odd three color combination (black, blue and white – funny as his flavor text includes the line: “my strength is that of mountains”) to a mono-color that made sense for the ability."
