Am I the only one who thinks that the word "extra" is kind of out of place?
Isn't "Take another turn after this one" will be better?
No, actualy. Becasue "another" means only after your original turn. Becasue something like vedalken orrery can allow you to play turn-granting spells (beacon of tomorrows for example) in your opponents' turn. And then the word "extra" has a new meaning: You get a... how to describe it... AN ADDITIONAL turn. "Another" won't work on opponents' turn.
But yet "extra" feals funny to me.
Any suggestions?
If that is the case they atleast should say why they think that because you got to admit that the word "extra" is a little off-magic.
Why do I have to admit that? It's an English word that means exactly what it needs to mean ("additional" implies there is something it is in "addition" to), and magic cards are written in English. It's no more "off" than "divide," "east," "declare," "minus," "coin," or any other word we use.
For the extremely literal-minded, "Take another turn after this one" could be misinterpreted as having no real effect. Your turn ends, then your opponent takes his or her turn, and then -- what happens? -- you take another turn. It happens to be after "this one," so all articles of the law are met ...
Hence why "extra" and "additional" are handy to have. Le Chat would prefer to have the two phrases of the effect inverted (to "After this turn, {player} takes an additional turn"), but the game-meaning is identical.

I think "Take an extra turn after this one." is very clear an precise in what it means. Before you go trying to "correct" the wording on this, i want to ask how many nonvanilla cards from Alpha, other than Time Walk, have not received errata?

Well you certenly have a point there. Alsaw "extra" is the most proper thing when you think about it. Well, what the heck.

Take another turn in addition to your next turn?
Behind the eyes of truth, is a world of illustions.
Dragon Riderof a Mist Dragonn anyway with the Dragon Riders Clan.
But if you are in your cuttent turn and not in your opponent's one, then you will have to wait a turn to get it? Mmmm....
