Target player sacrifices target creature he or she controls. It was diabolic. Really, really diabolic. No, more diabolic than that. It was diabolic!
Anyway, does this work?

You think it is original to reword Terminate in this silly way?
Its not a rewording of Terminate, as this gets rid of indestructibles too. And yes, the wording works perfectly fine rules-wise. A bit undercosted though, I think. Indestructible creatures cost a premium for their advantage. To be able to take it away should cost more than one extra B over Dark Banishing.
Target player sacrifices target creature he or she controls.
A player can only sacrifice creatures that he or she controls, so the last four words are unnecessary. They are useful, though, for newer players who don't yet know the game so well, so while unnecessary, they're not harmful either.

The last four words serve a very important purpose. They make a targeting requirement, so that you can only target a creature that the targeted player controls.
