This contest is a hybrid of the DCC and IIW/winner is judge games like Club Flamingo. If you are unfamiliar with either of those the rules for this contest will be explained below, but if you have any questions feel free to ask in the discussion thread.
Anyone can enter each day.
Post a card that fits the current challenge.
In the same post, name exactly two other players to vote for their entries for the previous challenge. (In the event that there are two or less entries that you are allowed to vote for, you may vote for only one)
Make sure to include an "If I Win" (IIW) for tomorrow's challenge if you win
Each day we use the challenge of the previous day's winner. In the case of a tie, we'll use the IIW of the tied player who has least overall points.
Votes you receive each day go to your points for the duration of the contest (currently planned to end on Sat. 3/9). The top overall scorer(s) at the end of this period will be the winner(s).
Wave Reflection (Rare) 3U
Whenever an Island enters the battlefield under your control, reveal the top card of your library. If a Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, or Serpent card is revealed this way, create a token that’s a copy of it except it’s an Illusion in addition to its other types and has defender and “When this creature becomes the target of a spell or ability, sacrifice it.”
While you’re scrying, You may cast Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, and Serpent spells from among the scryed cards.
At the beginning of each end step, scry X, where X is the number of spells you cast this turn.
IIW: Cards that cost 0 (cards with non-existent mana costs do not count)
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a vortex counter on ~, then you may put a Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, or Serpent with converted mana cost less than or equal to the number of vortex counters on ~ from your hand into play.

Whenever you remove a time counter form a suspended Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, or Serpent, target creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn.

Creature - Merfolk Shaman (Rare)
Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, Serpent and Fish spells you cast cost 1 less to cast for each Merfolk you control. 2B, Pay 2 life: Create a 1/1 blue Merfolk creature token with hexproof. The louder the call, the greater the reply.
You may have Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus and Serpent creatures you control enter the battlefield tapped with a +1/+1 counter on them and may choose not to untap them during your untap step.
Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus and Serpent creatures you control have hexproof as long as they're tapped.
Sorcery (R) Strive - This spell costs 1G more to cast for each target beyond the first.
Until end of turn, any number of target creatures each gain "T: Put a +1/+1 counter on each other creature you control, plus an additional +1/+1 counter on each of those creatures that's a Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, or Serpent."
