Jungle Totemspeaker -- 2GG
Creature -- Beast Shaman (U)
When Jungle Totemspeaker enters the battlefield, create a Totem artifact token.
Jungle Totemspeaker gets +1/+1 for each Totem you control.
Quote from Rudyard »Ebontail, IlGreven
Landfall — Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, put a crystal counter on Geode Grotto.
T, Remove a crystal counter from Geode Grotto: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.

Quote from entombedhydra »Votes: atogstorm, Ebontail (I think you're looking for "if a spell or effect an opponent would target a land you control, you may have it target this instead"; as is it's just giving you a 2nd Strip Mine. :laugh2:)
Eloquent Inciter 1R
Creature - Human Rebel Rogue (U)
Whenever a creature blocks Eloquent Inciter, remove it from combat. It deals damage equal to its power to its controller.
What can I say? She made some good points.

Foraging Jiangshi 3BB
Creature - Zombie Vampire (R)
Whenever you gain life, if Foraging Jiangshi is untapped you may tap it. If you do, return target creature card from your graveyard to your hand.
Putting a jiangshi's hunger to practical use is a sure sign of a competent necromancer.

Debt Payment B
Cripple target creature unless its controller pays 2. (Until the start of your next turn, the next time it would be targeted or take damage, destroy it.)
Quote from Roccovsky »Living Wish RGWU
Creature — Avatar (M)
Flash, Vigilance, Trample
Living Wish can't be countered or sacrificed.
Living Wish's's power and toughness can't be less than 6. (If either would be changed to less than 6 by damage or effects, it is changed to 6 instead.)
Sagharri & Indighost
Shoot, I'm just realizing I didn't include a provision that removes the enchantment once the "ransom"
is paid. There should be a "sacrifice Hold for Ransom" somewhere in the triggered ability.
Sagharri: Fun! Free spells are dangerous, but attaching it to an obvious removal target and having to wait a few turns for the payoff makes it OK I think. And it's even reasonably useful in the interim, too. I'd draft this, and even eye it for a janky constructed strategy.
Indighost: This would have wrecked my prerelease deck Super relevant, given the focus on -1/-1 counters in Amonkhet, and fairly-costed. Easy sideboard include, and could even be built around.
Ebontail: Great idea for a design, but it's worded in a way that's unsupported by the rules. Additionally, you'd need to ensure it only works while Expendable Terrirory is still on the battlefield to avoid unintended exploitability. PLUS, like entombedhydra pointed out, this would mostly be used BY Strip Mine players, rather than against them. To make it a little more fair without changing how the second ability works, you could remove the mana ability, and reword the rest:
"Sacrifice Expendable Terrirory: The next time another land you control would be put into the graveyard from the battlefield, instead it isn't."
It's still Strip Mine #5 through 8 this way, but a less-good version. Maybe not quite as abusable?

Quote from Ruggley »Nettlevine Cluster 2B
Creature — Plant
Whenever Nettlevine Cluster is dealt damage, put that many -1/-1 counters on it and create that many 1/1 black Plant creature tokens with defender and wither.
