All your bags are packed. All your ordeals have been taken care of. You are ready to set forth into the unknown, to find your destiny, to change your fate.
But go where? The rumor that set you in motion told of a game with fate himself, which happens once a year, but exactly when or where is unclear. For a while you move around, and gather some bits of information here and there, but there is still much you don't know, and there is no one left to ask.
Well, almost.
You've avoided using your most important source of information. You were hoping you'll never need it, but it seems that there is no other option. In a way you are relieved to have to use it: you knew sacrifices will have to be made in order for you to succeed, and this shall be the first one. If you can withstand it, you'll feel much better about your chances to find the fabled game, and then surely your skill will allow you to win easily.
Challenge: Designed the final source of information that will point you towards the game of Fate. Your team decides what this source is:
Team Power
Zoomba - 27
Highlander - 45
J.Do - 27
Egak - 45
maximumbuttitude - 91
Jimmy Groove - 36
Team Power: You may have grown up in the slums, but you are not without your resources. Even in the lowest places, there are people worth knowing, and you know just the right one. To approach them is risky, they are not known for their kindness, but approach them you must. Their power will come with a cost, but you are certain they will send you on your way. (In other words: Design a creature card to represent your source. It should have the power to get you information, but should also come with a heavy cost to the controller)
Team Immortality: You are a man of means, having reached to the top and studied the arts of death itself in your quest to achieve immortality. However, now it seems that your regular sources are not enough. It figures that by the end of the day you cannot trust anyone but yourself. The time has come for some irregular sources of information. You know the one. It's that spell. You've stumbled upon it in your studies, but even you were intimidated by the idea of casting it. It will guarantee you'll find the information you're looking for, but at a grave cost. Then again, if getting to this game was easy, you wouldn't trust it to be true. (In other words: Design an instant or sorcery card to represent the spell you cast to gain information. It should have an additional and painful cost to the caster)
Team Resurrection: Despite your failure to save your loved one, you are far from powerless. You've managed to get some information from contacts and spells, but they are far from good enough. You do own one more possible source to lead you in the right way, but it is a family heirloom, and using it will ensure its destruction. Nevertheless, you would rather have your loved on alive than hold on to one keepsake, even if grandma might be mad at you for wasting it. (In other words: create an artifact that would help you find the information you need. It must be of the one-time use variety, so you'll have to sacrifice it or exile it in order to activate it).
Team Love: Ah, the pains one must undergo for love! The search for information has been a lesson in futility, but you are nothing if not determined. Hard work doesn't scare you if it means you can be united with your one true love. You have no mystery spell of divination to cast, no hidden sources to whisper you secrets in the dark, no trinkets that might shed light that might pierce this fog of doubt. All you have are your wits and your willpower, but you are certain that would be enough. Simply invest yourself in the search, and the answer will come. (In other words: Design an enchantment card to represent your search for information. It must allow further investment to get additional results)
