"Salmeyo is certainly going to be destroyed within the month if you don't do anything about it." The words echoed across the auditorium where the planeswalkers were gathered, and everyone went silent.
"There will be rewards for this, of course. What we can provide, we will." The man at the podium paused for a moment. "However, as a gesture of good faith, we'd like you to solve a smaller portion of the problem..." He gestured off-stage, and the curtain behind him rose, revealing a view of the... things that were destroying Salmeyo.
For this round, post a removal spell in your planeswalker's colors. It can target any permanent type of your choice.
Clarification: By "in your planeswalker's colors", I'm referring to the standard "color identity" rules - that is, exactly those colors that are on your planeswalker may be used, and you may not leave any of those colors out.

The Card Creation League is a monthly contest in which players compete over seven rounds. Each month has an overall theme and/or story, determined by that month's host.
Each round, the host will assign a card creation task to the players. This task may vary between teams or players.
The first three rounds are open to everyone who joined in the sign-up thread, which will be posted near the end of the previous month. After these rounds, the Top 8 players will move on to three elimination rounds to determine a winner.
Rounds usually last three to four days for submissions and about two days for critiques, but the host has final say in making the schedule.
For the first three rounds, players are divided into teams. Four teams is standard, but there may be more or less depending on the number of players. Each team will review another team's cards during the critique period of that round.
Each player must submit a Top 3 ranking for the team he or she critiques at the end of each round. Each 1st place is worth 3 points, 2nd place 2 points, and 3rd place 1 point.
Additionally, each player can receive 2 bonus points per round. One point is awarded for posting a Top 3, and one point for providing critiques for that team's cards.
Suggested areas to critique include creativity, balance, printability, and relation to the overall theme or that player's previous cards.
Players who do not post a card or a Top 3 will be put on "probation." Top 3 violations for a round can be removed by posting or PMing the host with your Top 3 before the end of the next round. Any player that would receive a second violation is disqualified from further competition that month.
At the end of the first three rounds, the Top 8 players will be selected by points (usually the top 2 from each team). In the case of ties, there may be more than 8 players advancing. The suggested scoring method is for each player to critique all remaining players in the same Top 3 style as the first three rounds, with the top half advancing each round, so Top 8, then Top 4, then Finals.
The final round is determined by public poll.
Prior to Top 8, players have a chance of getting a total of 100 points toward their score each Scoring Round. Scores for each Round are determined by the following equation:
Total points of Player A in round N = 100 * X/Y, where:
X = Total number of Scoring Points (Judge Points + Additional Points from Top 3 & Critiques)
Y = Total number of Possible Points (3 * Number of Judges + Additional Points)
3 points are given for a First Place Top 3 finish, 2 points for a Second Place, and 1 point for a Third Place. 1 additional point is awarded if a Top 3 is submitted. 1 additional point is awarded if Critiques are given for all entries to be judged.
This way the grading is more streamlined in the fact that all rounds prior to Top 8 are graded equally, and there is no handicap for any team that has fewer judges.
Each player accumulates points from each Scoring Round until the end of Round 3.
Arcus is a human planeswalker reaching into all five colors of magic. While he can cast basic spells across every school of magic, he is unable to cast truly spectacular spells. His specialty involves the very nature of the Spark itself--he is able to identify people that have the Spark, both ignited and dormant. Rather than trying to do battle with his meager selection of spells, he calls on the numerous planeswalker allies he has forged friendships with to do his bidding for him.
Because of the nature of his travels and of his magic, very little is known about Arcus' history, or how his Spark ignited. The large number of planeswalkers he associates with gives him vast knowledge of the Multiverse. If there's a settled plane of existence in the Multiverse, he probably knows at least the basics of it. His motives for seeking out so many planeswalkers are also unclear, but more than one person who has seen Arcus wouldn't put him beyond having mostly selfish reasons, up to and including Multiverse domination.

Alvasha was a young Centaur when she witnessed the true fury of the earth as a volcano wiped out not only the valley in which her clan had lived, but also every thing else in the surrounding area, including what had been a bustling human settlement.
The humans never returned, but the trees and plants did over time, she watched as she grew how the area that was devastated recovered over time, and with a bit of magical aid, was a bustling forest area once more after just a few years. Over this time she learned about the natural cycle of things, and started to believe, not just in the power of nature like her kind, but how nature would always outlast civilization, and it became the core of her beliefs. Now she seeks to keep nature at balance with man, and if beings of any sort attempt to break the balance, she would show them the error of there ways through branch and fire.

Azmor once was a promising young student wizard in the great school of Tolaria. He thirsted for knowledge. His thirst took him into all schools of learning and as a bright student, there was little restriction on him. He was initially trained by Halfdane and Hanna whom sculpted his desire to learn and to control, however once Hanna discovered one of his "experiments" on a lesser student, Azmor was banished from Tolaria. His banishment turned him from the the law that exiled him from the pinnacle of learning, and he descended into the depths of madness. Without the guided learning, his experiments became increasingly gruesome. Frequently building genetic spawns from the hosts of other living organisms. He learned to enhance, and mutate his pets. And he even experimented on himself, creating half man half monstrosity and all brutality. At the height of his experimentation, the phyrexian invasion was happening across Dominaria, but Azmor remained deep in his cave twisting the mutations with hideous experiments. When he finally emerged from the darkened cave that had been his laboratory, he vowed death and destruction on the laws and order that exiled him from his home and promise of a great future. This time, he was not alone, and while the world was recovering from the phyrexian threat, Azmor began to plant his seeds of destruction, his seeds that would soon be his minions.
