Not that I expect it to change anything, but Alley Grifters exists, and the life loss trigger gets a lot more intresting in muliplayer, it gives the defending play the ability to bolt all but one player for 3 life. Also it was said that the PW ability just had to help deal with the creature, even if it was to draw a card, my ability pumps creatures, which is an even more direct way of dealing with a creature IMO.
I did briefly consider multiplayer but it just struck me as weird that the defending player is the one who gets to decide whether the full effect of my card goes off. Then again, I don't play multiplayer, so I don't know much, but in two-player constructed sucks awfully and I'm not a fan of cards designed solely for multiplayer as that's only a small subset of the game.
As for the planeswalker ability... it pumps your creatures to attack on your turn. The mercenary is a card that wants to be attacking always, not blocking, so he can't care less for that ability. It doesn't interact with him in any way.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.
(Since I didn't cover it last round, I shall do it this round, and this is mostly just for fun after seeing others do it =3)
Loguh, after wandering the strange wilderness, eventually learned he had arrived in a place called Innistrad, in all honesty, it was a place he rather enjoyed at first. A world of monsters and mayhem. Unfortunantly, it didn't hold his interest long, as the werewolves and vampires tended to make his own hunting less prosperous and more dangerous, having to sacrifice some of the followers he had gained to survive. He planeshifted away, the ex-shaman chief of the Odazi Ogre clan, to search for new and better worlds to build a new clan.
The next place he landed was a desert called Rabiah. The Desert was harsh, but nothing the Ogre couldn't handle he thought, even with what seemed like a sandstorm approaching over the dunes. He had gone through sandstorms and the such before, but nothing like this. When it hit, it was less dust and wind, and more malice and hatred. The Sand seemed to be trying to tear him apart.
Black Sand-DevilBB
Creature - Efreet {U}
Cumulative Upkeep - Pay 1 life
When Black Sand-Devil dies, each opponent loses 1 life for each age counter that was on it.
3/3
Even as he tried to escape it, it seemed to follow him, even though he could see the edges, he couldn't reach them. The storm seemed to have a mind of its own. As he fought to survive this blasted storm of spite, he called about his inner fire once more, that spirits of his fallen clan mates for strength. He did smile a bit as it provided him with an opportunity he thought. He used this inner flame and his spark to call forth one of his fallen brethren right more, a more suiting target for this unnatural storm he hopped, and ordered it in the opposite direction from him. The other ogre rushed the opposite direction of his creator, swinging his club through the air as he did. It seemed to work, drawing the attention of the malevolent storm to give chase.
Loguh, the Last Odazi
Planeswalker - Loguh
{+3}: Target creature you control gets +X/+0 until end of turn, where X is it's power, at the beginning of the end step, sacrifice it.
{-2}: Put a 3/3 red Ogre creature token onto the battlefield.
Would post reworded 1st ability if allowed, but guessing it is not allowed since it wasn't in other rounds. Aw, cool =3
Link in creature type is to show flavor reasons why it is an Efreet and a sandstorm
Vindictive Efreet 1R
Creature- Efreet (U)
Whenever Vindictive Efreet attacks or blocks, flip a coin. If you lose the flip, Vindictive Efreet deals 3 damage to you. Efreeti can be bound to the service of a mortal master, but they don't have to like it.
3/3
+1: Put an ice counter on up to one target creature. Tap that creature. (From last round.)
-1: You get an emblem with "Creatures get -1/-0 for each ice counter on them."
Khamsin Djinn3UU
Creature - Djinn (U)
Flying
Whenever Khamsin Djinn deals combat damage to a creature, put that creature on top of its owner's library.
Whenever Khamsin Djinn deals combat damage to a player, that player puts a creature he or she controls on top of its owner's library.
3/3
+1: Until end of turn, permanents you control have "Sacrifice a permanent: Regenerate this permanent."
-3: Drozu Nelek deals damage to target creature or player equal to the number of permanents you control that left the battlefield this turn.
Sandspire Imp2R
Creature - Devil (U)
Haste
Landbound - Mountain (This creature enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter for each mountain tapped for mana to pay its mana cost.)
1/0

Suleiman's Pikemen4WW

Story update coming soon
Arcel: The creature seems a little powerful for an uncommon but otherwise it has a great design. The planeswalker ability is also nice.
Yewlas: Very similar in terms of power level to Arcel's card, in fact it's more powerful. So nice design overall for the creature. Regarding the PW ability, I don't really think it actually protects your PW.
void_nothing: I know there is a power creep going on, but this seems really really powerful. I think it should be costed 4UU. A great idea though, fits the flavor of Rabiah fits too. The PW ability is a little weak I think. Also, you won't be able to use it to get rid of the Djinn unless you don't have other sacrifice outlets.
Maokun: Really sweet card! Besides being a devil, how is it connected to Rabiah though? PW ability is reasonable and is very blue. I also like how it deals with the Imp.
KoolKoal: Really balanced, nice card. The PW ability does not really deal with the creature but can be used to find an answer.
Chadly Whiplash: Nice card, maybe it should be a rare given other red fliers. PW ability does not take care of the creature though.
Socrates - Flavor doesn't tie you to your plane. Were spellshapers introduced in Mercadia? I'm too lazy to look. The PW ability is nothing special.
Æthermage - No show.
charut - Causing creatures to be unable to block is red's color pie. It isn't a massive color-bleed, but when it hits multiple creatures too, I don't like it. Your -1 ability is fine. It's fairly bland but useful.
Cardz5000 - An interesting card. I really don't understand how pumping creatures to attack is going to help deal with a creature that is already attacking you though. Your planeswalker is shaping up to be rather powerful. (And you should consider changing the + ability to just make the lands green and blue instead of making people remember what color they chose)
Ninja Caterpie - I like this design a lot. Your - ability is very strong against certain decks and very weak against others, but I still like it.
Savia - At first, I missed that your extortionists triggered on any mercenary etbing, and thought it was much more balanced. As is, this thing is a bit too strong I think. I don't like that your planeswalker makes two different kinds of tokens that much. The two abilities seem utterly disconnected.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.
Drawdagreek: Your creature is a pretty nice variant of the white ETB choose protection from something card. Its complexity somewhat teeters on Rare but I think it works out fine as an uncommon because of its nicheness. The walker ability is a nice answer to the uncommon although a bit odd.
Magicprofessor: The creature is a nice tribal card and something I'd like to see in draft if there was more support for Minotaurs. The planeswalker ability is really what puts this entry over the top though. Its a great synergy of U/B and answers the challenge directly.
Polendio: Always a big fan of french vanilla double strikers and this one isn't all that bad. Flavor text is great and the walker ability fits just fine for answering the threat if not a bit basic.
Prophylaxis: Not sure how I feel about fight in black as of yet, other than "target creature fights itself" maybe. But this is a nice flavorful vampire bat style card and an ideal uncommon. Synergies between your + ability and - ability are also impressive.
Willows: I really like the Vampire, though it could possibly use the Cleric class type. The planeswalker ability seems off since its usually only useful when you can use it at instant speed and not very synergistic with your + ability.

I see what you mean, and somewhat agree with the "should not hit multiple creatures" argument. I am pointing out two black cards that show black also has "unable to block"- solely because that seems to be the point of these responses.
See Crippling Blight and Shinen of Fear's Chill.
Socrates - That is some really good repeatable removal, slightly mitigated by the high-card-disadvantage cost. It'd be more Mercadian in flavor if it were some sort of Saprazzan merfolk mage who drowned people. The -1 is really bad given Elspeth, Knight-Errant has it as a +1. charut - Seasoned Cutthroat's trigger is really complex to parse out and reminds me too much of Zendikar's Allies, but it is good as a global effect. The lesser-cmc-recruitment thing is par for the course. Your PW ability is really quite strong for a -1. Cardz5000 - Vedalken Ghoul does Brutish Mugger's ability a bit better. Tribal components to planeswalker abilities are no fun; that's why there hasn't been a second incarnation of Nissa. Ninja Caterpie - Rishadan Streetear is really cool; it feels more like a Ravnican Dimir card than a Mercadian one, though. It shoulda been a Pirate. Your planeswalker's minus ability is pretty dangerous but not insane; it feels like something off a Chandra. Savia - Putting the Mercenary tutor ability on a combat trigger is cool and original. The enters-the-battlefield trigger coupled with it is a bit much for an uncommon. Your minus ability is pretty much always gonna be useful and has never been seen on a green 'walker before, which is all good.
Nameless Race doesn't have a creature type as of the great creature type reshuffling. It's specifically typeless to go with the flavor. And, ok, I missed the last line of the Legend Rule: If only one of those permanents is legendary, then the legend rule doesn't apply.... I was working under the impression that the legendary token would die if any token shared its name. I will have ot go back and fix all my entries for the next round.. damn
