This isn't anything like JtMS you play Jace when your getting beat he helps, you play jace when your winning he helps, you play jace on a long road trip and your eyes woun;t stay open he'll drive.
If your losing this guys is a 5cc prevent the next five damage to you and shuffle your hand, unless on turn 9 you drop this and time warp with rebound. Really this guys should be 2cc and he might see play. Has no defence comes out way too late and you need even more mana to use his -0 ability the same turn. the ultimate is a win more, if you have two Prime Titans smashing your face next turn the ultimate dosen't help, your still gonna lose. and since it's turn 7 before you could ever get it off and you sank turn 5 into playing him I'm guess your being beat.
This IS NOT a knock on the design, i like it. It's just not powerful at all.
Til I’m toppling from the top I’m not going to stop
I’m standing on my Monopoly board
That means I’m on top of my game
And it don't stop 'til my hip don’t hop anymore
the draw effect is far too powerful to be +1 it would need to be -2 or even -3 in order to be fair, and then you could probably drop the cmc to 4 and add an ability that protects himself like " +1 : Target Players Receives a 4/4 Legendary Elemental with Phasing and when this creature enters the battlefield it's controller loses 2 Life" And change the final to something like " You gain an emblem with "Whenever an opponent casts an instant or sorcery spell exile it with 4 time counters on it, Spells exiled this way have suspend and buyback."" I like this flavor
uhuh... together with Underworld Dreams, it's like MUHA! +1 on loyalty & <7 damage each turn... i like... played together with the puzzlebox, this could end the game quickly...
no I really agree that the first ability is a little bit broken... :/
also agreeing on the casting cost... imo this will never see red...
1st off, love the flavor and art :P. Mkay... where to begin?
If this card was printed, it would destroy MTG utterly. Building a deck w/o 4 of these would be unthinkable. Every effect is unprintable. Absolutely everything.
+1: Quite possibly the most powerful effect. There is a reason why Wheel of Fortune is banned.
0: Infinite Time Warp anybody? Heck, I like infinite turns as much as the next guy...
-6: By far the weakest ability, as it takes two turns and two over powered shuffle/draw mechanics to reach this point in the game. At this point, you're already laughing and your opponent is crying like a baby.
I don't understand why, but it seems like Planeswalkers are the hardest type of cards for people to understand the value of. Remember when everyone thought that Jace was just "ok", I picked up 20 for $20 a pop at that point thank you very much. Inversely, some of the previous posts here confuse me; actually defending this card's abilities. This card has more flavor than it can handle, and nothing less than an ultra-high mana cost Jace or Urza himself actually deserves planeswalking abilities like this.
His ultimate may not technically be as "game ending" as JTMS, but in practice it should work the same way. Venser's ability seems crazy at first, but in games you realize that by the time you get there, you've pretty much won the game anyway; plus you need to actually have spells to cast. This ultimate - if you ever need it - makes everything you do uncountable and turns the match into a 1 player game (as if infinite Time Warp didn't do that already).
I personally like the idea of this walker. The art is spectacular and his abilities give us (more or less) one's we haven't seen before. His +1 has extreme potential, especially if combined with Telepathy and the +0 works equally (if not better) with draw cards. If I was gonna throw this into anything it'd be a draw/burn. And, as stated, by the time his -6 ability gets used, the game should mostly be sealed for you.

You are either a troll, or you clearly don't play magic. to start, the first ability isn't Wheel of Fortune, It's Winds of Change. Second, rebound doesn't work like that. Have you ever read the reminder text of a card with rebound? Now might be the time. Lastly, the final abilities of planeswalkers are supposed to be 'OMG, I didn't know I could do that!" That's why they usually result in the sacrifice of your walker in order to pull it off! As for game-breaking, Wallet Sculptor is the guiltiest of that crime, hands down.

Big fan of that PW, very cool abilities. I was just looking at some of Genzoman's art today, and as far as cartoony styles go, his work is pretty nice. I feel it's a little out of place in Magic, but I wouldn't flip my lid if we saw some of his work on printed cards and I'm sure he'd choose a darker colour palette or even change his style if he was commissioned for a few pieces.
So if he get's his ultimate you get to 3 time walks against your opponent... In a mono blue Proliferate deck this seems very likely. I would almost call it broken. It's on the border
