If you have, for example, a creature card with three creature types, and any two of them have been put together before but the three of them have never ALL been seen together before, the card passes.
PLEASE NOTE: This month will NO LONGER use the "mandatory top 3" rule. Critiques and top 3s will each be worth one bonus point per round but it will be possible to score points and advance even without submitting a top 3. This will also be done on a trial basis; future months may once again require top 3s from contestants.
Artifact Creature - Orb Construct (R)
Soldevi Rondure’s power and toughness are each equal to the number of cards in your hand.
At the beginning of your upkeep, discard a card unless you pay 1 for each card in your hand.
For those wondering where the "Orb" subtype comes from, it is only mentioned on one card: Phantasmal Sphere. This is a modern homage to that Reserved List card from Alliances.
Wyvern of Spellform 1URR
Creature--Drake Avatar (Mythic)
Flying, first strike
When Wyvern of Spellform enters the battlefield return target instant or sorcery card from your graveyard to your hand
Instant and sorcery spells you cast cost 1 less
Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell double Wyvern of Spellform's power until end of turn
When Wyvern of Spellform leaves the battlefield you can't cast instant or sorcery spells until the end of your next turn Nothing can hold magic's potential when it has dangerous shape
Tribal Land - Dragon Gate (U)
As Reborn Guildgate enters the battlefield, you may reveal a card that costs at least WUBRG from your hand. If you don't, Reborn Guildgate enters the battlefield tapped. T: An opponent chooses three colors. Add one mana of a color chosen this way. Niv-Mizzet couldn't help but rebuild some of Ravnica in his new image.
Passage of the Chosen1GUW
Enchantment - Aura Saga (r)
Enchant creature you control.
I: Create a token that's a copy of enchanted creature.
III: Exile all creatures except for enchanted creature and creatures with the same name.
kwanyeegor - Holy Microtext, Batman! There is a quite a bit of missing punctuation, but, even so, this much rules text with five different lines of abilities would end up needing a magnifying glass much like Animate Dead. 87 Drakes in the game, only 13 of which aren't at least partially Blue, yet you went with URR in the casting cost. It seems like it was balanced on the wrong side there.
Fajen Thygia - There are a number of templating problems with the card, but I get the basic idea. Not seeing the need for 'Tribal' to be added to the card since it was effectively retired. While I am a fan of punisher mechanics, this looks like it would be part of a new category: masochist mechanics. There is almost never going to be a good outcome from letting your opponent name three colors and you getting to add one of the three to your mana pool.
Hemlock - I think I would be a Saga Aura. This would also be disgusting if attached to a creature that had an ETB proliferate ability. Thankfully, there aren't any creatures thatcouldabuse such an Aura.
Fajen Thygia: I like the CIPT clause, but one mana of any color would have been very good enough, given how narrow is the chance of getting this untapped outside Dragons or Slivers. The clause could have read "a card that's five colors" as to have it read smoothly in rules text fashion without having impact on the effect outside those transguild golems, whij doesn't aound like a winning synergy.
Eventide Soujurner: A blue [card]Maro[/mana] with evasion can explode on your face, so I'm really happy with the upkeep drawback. This is still very powerful with it.
Kwanyegor: The last ability is annexcess ofbtext, but I get you needed a drawback to balance it. I think you should have tried something else, like tinkering with cost and stats. But in the enf, it just does too much for 4 mana,
