Like the title says, we're going to be creating cycles together in this game. It's simple:
INSTRUCTIONS:
--Design the next card in the cycle following the latest pattern. Your card must not fill the same slot as any other card in the cycle (for instance, in a cycle of monocolored creatures, if someone has already posted a blue creature, you cannot post a blue creature).
--Include a reminder of what cycle we're on. DO NOT FORGET THIS STEP.
--At the end of each cycle, the person who posts the last card in the cycle will provide a pattern for the next cycle as well as the first card in that cycle. Try to be as specific as possible, and use the terms listed below for clarity. (patterns like "a horizontal cycle of multicolored spells" will take too long to finish.) If I find a cycle that seems like it will take too long to finish, I will intervene and post a new cycle pattern.
CYCLE TYPES -- VERY IMPORTANT:
-Horizontal Cycles are cycles of cards that range across colors (WUBRG, enemy color combinations, ally colors combinations, etc.)
-Vertical Cycles are cycles of cards that range across the rarities (common, uncommon, rare, mythic rare).
-Tight Cycles are cycles of cards that all share multiple characteristics.
-Loose Cycles are cycles of cards that all share a theme, but have some functional differences.
To give you a small example, I might start things off with "a horizontal cycle of one-mana monocolored enchantments," after which each person would post an enchantment that fits the description until there are no more slots to fill (this will occur when a white, blue, black, red, and green enchantment have been posted). If you are the one to end the cycle, you'll give the pattern for the new cycle (something like "Next up: a vertical cycle of black zombies.")
I'll kick things off here.
First up: A horizontal cycle of uncommon, mono-colored defenders.

@Indighost~ for sure! If the cycle had started "a horizontal cycle of uncommon 4-mana spirit creatures with defender and a combat damage replacement effect," then we'd want what we have going on. But it just sort of happened this way, and that's perfectly alright. All the posters have to do is create a card that fits the cycle.

@Withengar...How do you make the dots in front of the choices?
On the editing toolbar for your poast, the fifth icon from the left shows a few horizontal lines with bullets beside them. This will convert a sentence to the list format, which is essentially that same thing as every other BBCODE parameter, except aside from just going {list}"your text"{/list}, you need to designate bullets at the beginning of sentences by going {list}{*}sentence1{*}sentence2{/list}. Replace all those curly brackets with regular ones.
