Backstory: An unorthodox archeologist, Thrassik roams the asteroid belts separating the V'rixidic Inner Coalition and the trading nexus Maginon X searching for relics and remains in the wrecks of ships. This and the fact that his ship has no radiation core protection or life support have made him somewhat of a myth among superstitious traders who believe he is some sort of grim reaper. His creations, however are not like the shambling undead of necromancers but rather resemble what they look like in life. He so far hasn't found out how to bring back anything other than plants.
"...True rune, it is... familiar, although I am afraid you may have to remind me as to its purpose. Creation of energy is not quite a pushed aspect in Nv'Skshzs, as it is a part of life and considered rather menial." she paused a moment, considering what to say next, "When one lives energy, one's views on things are vastly different. But I suppose my interest is reignited, not to say that it was quenched in the first place." How curious actually. But she might as well let the person of importance continue.

You leave your room to admire the riches on display, and under a minute later a woman in the same uniform of the avian servant who greeted you before bounces up to you. She literally bounces, her pink round flesh seems almost elastic. With a wide toothy grin she bows in respect and inquires what she could do to assist you.
She guides you out of the Hall of the Diplomats and you make your way back into the chaos of the Marketplace. As before the criers of howling merchants assault your ears, as bright neon screens shine brightly into your eyes, and your body is constantly barraged by the tide of other people wading through the overcrowded streets.
The datapad displays the map you were shown before leading you to the Enclave of the Treasure Hunters. Thankfully it isn't simply a line telling you which direction it is in, but it displays the fastest route you can take. As you walk along the much longer route to the Enclave compared to the Hall you notice the buildings displayed occasionally change position in the map.
Eventually you turn a corner and see a large, grand bronze building. The walls appear to be a porous stone at first, but the pocked surface is actually coated in a slightly glowing substance. The wide double-doors are hanging open and you can see inside. The foyer has a wide staircase leading up to a reception desk where a bored looking human is working on a stack of paperwork. You can just make out to one side a wall of computers that appear to be open to the public as people just wander up to them and begin typing. The opposite side leads to another stairwell, this one heading downwards, you cannot see anything beyond the fact that there are stairs there.

Jerga stood with his arms crossed leaning against the back of the alley. There were two rather large crates sitting behind him. Random artifice wasn't odd in this part of town, tons of people threw stuff out that just was overlooked by the less efficient trash droids in the poorer neighborhoods. What was odd though, is these were pristine, shiny, and had state of the art computerized locks.
"Elyon Dixus! You made it!" Jerga smiled a broad smile and walks up to you, obviously attempting to hug you.

After procuring the bladed weapon you went back to your sleeping quarters in the Burbs. Ealry in the morning you were woken up by a human woman wearing a SpecOps uniform identical to what the Lt was wearing. With few words and little ceremony you were ushered from your living area and to the nearest hanger. You expected more fanfare for a dignitary being escorted to another world on an official diplomatic mission, but then again it wasn't the Embassy who was sending you out, it was a military unit. They didn't have much love of fanfare apparently.
Working through the crowds, settling your gear and then your person into the shuttle, then waiting on clearance took nearly four hours. Ironically, getting from the hangar to a warp station and then to Ronili's atmosphere took about fifteen minutes total. Apparently Ronili is a popular enough destination to warrant a semi-permanent wormhole between it and Vorvadoss.
Lt. Grkolk himself emerged from the cockpit of the shuttle and walked towards your seat, balancing easily in the turbulence of descent.
"Your grace, we will be landing in thirty minutes. We have been granted access to the scene directly and will land a few miles out where we have transportation waiting. My superiors are insisting that we should keep our investigations separate. While me and my people will answer any quesitons you have what they will not do is give you any of the findings of our equipment or mages. They want your investigation to be....pure, they say."

You watch as the two guards cuff and detain Ashnar and see him leave. Colonel Rikk'sk stands there, tapping a single paw in impatience while they escort him out. The Colonel turns his large head to you, and looks you up and down. "Alright. You're lucky your story matches what we saw on the vids. The asteroid we're heading to is utilitarian. No fancy perks, no coffee shops to head to on breaks from guard duty, just a jail and a guardhouse barracks."
He escorts you out of the interrigation room and down the hallway to your right. You take a quick peek left before following and see Ashnar being led in the opposite direction.
"Do you have experience as a guard? Have you held a job at all? What is your best feature? What is your worst? Are you a hard worker?"
Col. Rikk'sk asks the obligatory interview questions as you make your way further and further in the maze of hallways. Before you know it you arrive at an incredibly large door. The Colonel lifts a pad and places it onto a scanner and the doors slide open revealing a sleek shuttle.
Once you cross the threshold into the hangar, your mana is yours again. Add UR to your mana pool.

The guards cuff you quickly and begin dragging you out of the room even as you address the Colonel. The guards escorting you down the hallway are stoic to a fault, that is they say nothing, the give no non-verbal communication, they don't even look at you. What they do is lead you along a labrynth of corridors and hallways, each one seeming to get smaller and smaller. After over twenty mintues of walking they stop infront of a thin doorway that is barley wider than you are. It slides open, and you are not-so gently pushed inside.
As soon as the door slides behind you, you're in complete darkness and cannot see anything. By feel you can tell the cell is quite small, as you can touch each wall without walking. The walls themselves are bars though, and drafty.
There's something else odd here, the damper you've felt since being arrested seems weaker. You have access to BB of your original mana pool. As you draw on the darkness around you, you can also make use of BR additional mana, but you have a feeling that as soon as they haul you wherever you're going and take you out of the cage, it'll be gone.
"So scary man, what're you in fe?" The voice comes from your right.

You arrive in Vorvadoss Station and shamble into the crowded reception area in front of the customs desk. You've been through here numerous times meeting with various buyers and collectors of the salvage you've found, and you find the humid chill to be quite pleasant. What you don't find to be pleasant though is being stopped at the customs office once your identification is scanned and asked to stand to the side. The customs officials guarding the exits are heavily armed though, and you decide to stand, and wait.
After an hour of standing, watching aliens wander by, and being entertained only by the display of a clock on the opposite wall, you hear your name being called. A tall and thin creature supported by three legs is walking briskly towards you, carrying what appears to be a tank.
"For you. Take it. Now." The creature says and hands it over. Tank in hands you are pushed out of customs and into the Marketplace. You examine the odd gift and see it contains an odd purplish soil and a plant. The plan is moving, no not simply moving, it is breathing.

Ellisande frowns "How unfortunate. I was hoping your kind might have more news of them. A True Rune is an anomaly. It is an incredibly dense object of magic. The mana is collected into one area and collapses in on itself. This occurrence is rare. It takes a skilled magic user to be able to manipulate enough mana to be able to have it react interdependently of the mage's intent. Furthermore, a perfect mix of celestial events needs to take place, because that magic needs to react independently and inversely with a nuclear fusion, a star forming or collapsing is usual. If the magic and matter are in perfect sync they attempt to absorb one another. The magic tries to destroy the matter, and the matter the magic. Neither succeeds. Instead an anomaly occurs where an increased amount of energy is available with each cycle of attempted destruction, both increased physical as well as magical energies. We don't know why. We just know that one who can get a hold of one can draw a steady stream of energy from it and it will never weaken or stop." As Ellisande spoke technical formulas and engineering diagrams flashed on the screen giving a visual display of the concepts she was discussing. "The trick is finding one and putting it to a purpose. If you don't put it to use in one way or another it's just going to keep streaming magical and physical radiation. I'm sure you can imagine what kind of damage a mega-dense radioactive former star infused with mana can cause if left alone. I have no shortage of buyers who want one, but only one lead to find one. Your specific set of biological traits makes you very desirable to be a hunter looking for it Acolyte."

As Jerga tries to hug Elyon she smiles then slaps his hands down and looks him sqaure in the eye and speaks.
"Good day Jerga it looks like you are very happy today well I suggest you lose that sense of joy now because it looked like you were being tailed by a few questionable associates that you might know. I saw about four. (Elyon Dixus looks around the alley and sees he is alone.) I hate fighting but ( Elyon then brushes his cheek gently with the back of her hand and smiles) you are my prized horse Jerga and you can't die now. Are you ready Jerga? Ss'Ksms pondered the exact request for a minute and looked back at the screen, her employer having said her piece and thus was waiting for a response. "You say this True Rune is a magical source of overflowing energies? How.... disturbing, based on your description, it is highly reminiscent of the..." she stopped, searching her mind for a decent word to fit a translated title, "...Kindling. In a sense it's an etheric turbine that regulates the sparks that return to Nv'Skshzs. It is a more physical assurance of our light's growth, the Kindling being tended to only by the most proficient of Pyre Sages."
"Your request is... uncertain in my eyes, but I do not wish to let you down on this first assignment so, what are the associated dangers that join with this mission, are there others who are on the same assignment, to what purposes will this 'True Rune' cater to, And where do I begin?" she responded, looking back into the screen.
This will indeed be an interesting day.

Ah so that what this was, as much as the Marshalls had enough of a less than sterling reputation, it might have plummeted to something far worse if the general galactic public knew that in fact the Marshalls did take out targets, if sanctioned by the The Gathering, granted these wern't exactly on records you could find anywhere
It wasn't something he enjoyed, but he saw that it was sometimes necessary.

"So tell me, what is your name, and what is your fighting style?"

They were about a couple of minutes behind me."
I got a few tricks up my sleeves how about you.

She would thank the lady for the help. Making her way to the Enclave of the Treasure Hunters. Looking around, there seemed to be a few jobs posted on the wall for members of the guild, and other announcements as well. On the other side, a set of public computers as well. A few small public exhibits and the like were strewn about but nothing of proper note for her. She would head to the receptionist's desk and ask for the woman a while back. "Is Ellisande around?"
Sasky for the Sig.
I am in your [PACK]. Watching you... do... something.
"What did you do to deserve to get locked up here? You don't seem the type. Perhaps you have...heard about IT" Ashnar whispers the name of whatever IT is to the person in the cell beside him.
"Last Dreadnought I was able to requisition wound up unmanned, quarantined with a biomorphed leprosy virus and sent careening into a star." The man leans to his side and taps a few keys on his desk and a holo display shows a vid of a large armored warship floating into a huge burning mass.
"Wonder why they have denied me ever since. Anyway, what I need of you is your, people skills. The inhabitants of Jeda seem to be very blunt and appreciate bluntness even rudeness in kind. That is, if the Diplomats have their information straight. I want to send you to Jeda to meet some locals, find the head of this rebellion, and kill them. You don't need to find any major intel or disarm their militia. Just kill one man. Ya got it?"
Karnac shrugged and said " Alright fine then, when do I leave?"
